Great time there during happy hour. Great way to meet new people. their prices are pretty reasonable, and the food is very good. I highly recommend sitting outside so that you can watch the boats, and it's easier to meet new people there. There's hosted seating inside, but not outside. My husband and I got married this past March on a sailboat in key west , the Schooner America 2.0 with Classic Harbor Line only steps away from Conch Republic Seafood Company . It was the perfect place to have our small reception after our sailboat ceremony. We walked right off the boat , down the dock and into Conch Republic. We reserved the “End Of Bar” area which was roped off for our party only . Of course we had the best bar tenders in key west Scott & Sherry who we had met organically a couple years prior. For no apparent reason other than that they were genuinely kind, fun people, they were more than willing to helps us with odds and ends of wedding planning and helped to make our night one full of laughs drinks, and good times . I had the grilled lobster (Caribbean Spiney Lobster) and it was perfectly grilled, it along with the sides made an excellent dinner. I have been going for a couple of years now. Their menu changes rarely but the quailty of the food and service is always great. If you have a small party try getting a table with a view if the boats and the water. Also make sure you have a room key or an ID on you in case you need to get a pager to wait for a table (they won't give you the pager without an ID). We actually ate here twice since it was the pickup point for our hotel shuttle. The first night, we used some 2for1 coupons for drinks and had the cracked conch appetizer. The second night we came in for a sit down meal and most everything was great. The wife and I had the stuffed shrimp which were fantastic and unique. Our party of 5 also tried their burger, bisque soups, and chicken sandwich. The chicken sandwich was the cheapest and really disappointed. Considering the quality of the other dishes, I'd recommend removal from the menu entirely. The rest of the food was great and the service was adequate, but not up to par for these prices. Amazing seafood. The Royal Red shrimp are simply to die for. The staff is so over the top friendly it's ridiculous. We have gone to Key West for a full week each of the past three years, and we usually eat here at least once - if not twice - it's so god damn good. The staff is incredible, so friendly, so personsble, so attentive. We've even been recognized a year later by the staff we befriended the year prior. Don't let the naysayers poison you with their bitter reviews....you owe it to yourself to try out the Conch Republic!! More...

I am shocked that I have never reviewed this place yet! I have loyally been coming here for over 20 years on my annual migration to Key West. Happy hour is from 4-7pm, with two for one specials. What's nice is that you get a chip for your second drink, so if you don't get it the same day, no big deal. Just come back the next day or year, throw it on the bar and you are good.

Food is excellent! I should even let this secret out but they have Royal Red shrimp off menu. This breed of shrimp is harvested in the deepest waters and is hands down the best tasting. You won't find it listed, you just have to ask for them.

I had the cracked conch last night. They are able to prepare it better than any restaurant in the Bahamas.

Enjoyed the restaurant atmosphere and food. The Stone Crab was delicious. I only had issue with the pasta my wife got. Lobster stuffed ravioli. She asked for lite sauce and is was still smothered in it. We asked waitress if this is lite and she said that actually is for that dish. The spinach baked oysters with the parmesian cheese was outstanding. We also had the Cracked Conch which was strong in flavor with the fried badder. I wish the coconut bread was served warm. Food is good but a bit pricey. Service is excellent. The last picture is the blacked scallops with couscous that was very good. The second is the scampi and tips which I also thought was very good. The first is the Snapper Wellington, which was also good but needed more sauce. The green beens need cooked more and were a little too crispy for me and I also thought the sweet mashed potatoes were missing something. They needed brown sugared pecans and more butter. Yummy! Had the conch fritters and the flash fried conch ...both were fantastic! This restaurant is on the Harbor Walk so from your table you can see the amazing catamarans, yachts, sailboats and fishing boats coming and going. The gift shop is also wonderful!

Our favorite place to dine in Key West. Happy hour offers live music, a gentle tropic breeze off the Gulf, and wonderful cuisine to suit every palate.
