I never wear makeup and was worried I wouldn’t look like myself at my wedding, but from my first call with Christin I knew I was in good hands. Spending time with Christin is like spending time with your girlfriend. I just met her and it felt like I knew her forever. It allowed me to trust her in the process to do my makeup for my engagement photos. Can I just say I felt beautiful! My fiancé loved the look. I hired Christin Michelle to do the makeup for myself, my 2 bridesmaids and the 2 mothers. Christin showed up on time, was professional but easy going and made me look like a model. I don't wear makeup at all so I was very nervous about how I would look on my wedding. My makeup was spectacular! I've never looked more beautiful in my opinion which was echoed by so many guests. I often look at those pictures from almost a year ago now and hardly believe what Christin was able to do with my face in less than an hour. I booked Conceptual Beauty for my engagement shoot and my wedding. I wanted hair and makeup that was more glamorous and done-up than I normally have, as I was going for a fantasy, Labyrinth-inspired look, and Christin did a great job. She checked with me as she did the makeup to ensure that we were on the same page, and was very attentive when I requested a change here or there at the end to get it just right! I'd never had such dramatic makeup before, and to be honest, it looked a bit overdone in person, but in photos it looked great. So that is one thing to consider: decide how much you want to look like you normally do, and whether it's more important to look better in photos or in person (or some balance of the two), as that really helps clarify for Christin what direction to take the makeup in. Christin did a fantastic job on my makeup, my bridesmaids, and my mom for my wedding. She was on time and stuck to her schedule and was very professional. She listened to what we wanted and made us all look like movie stairs, from my mom who wanted something very natural to my one bridesmaid who wanted to dramatic smokey eye. I can't stop raving about Christin's artistry. If I could give her 100 stars, that still wouldn't be enough.

First of all, she made my mother feel comfortable. My mom wears very simple make-up, so when we went for my trial, my mom did one at the same time. When Christin was done, mom couldn't stop looking at herself. She took a nap while I got mine done, and made sure to sleep pretty so she wouldn't mess it up.

I've had my makeup done by Christin for other events, so I knew she was good. But her wedding day make-up took the cake, no pun intended. My wife NEVER wears make-up, yet was willing to try because she trusts Christin. When I saw her, she took my breath away. She was able to make my wife look beautiful (and a tiny bit feminine), while not making her look like a drag queen (my wife wore a tux to our wedding).

She did my entire bridal party and one of our officiants. Everyone's look was different, to suit their personalities and complexions. It was nice not to have that cookie cutter look where what works for one person looks terrible on another.

I wish I could share pics so you could see the transformation. Her prices are competitive (and by competitive, I mean cheaper than a lot of people), but her execution was top-notch.
