After being messed about by another company who held onto my pc for over 5 weeks and lied constantly and then gave me my pc back in the same state still not working I decided to try Computer repairs Swansea out which turned out to be a very good idea, he was very professional and pleasant to talk to. He installed a new operating system and gave me the CD for it all within a few days. My laptop developed a fault and wouldn't boot up. I took it to a local, established computer shop who could not solve the problem. Tim is very helpful and listens to what you need. He removed the hard drive when my laptop died and set it up as an external one so all my files were saved. He set up my new laptop to run windows 7ish as I don't like windows 8. My computer was being eaten by a particularly nasty virus. I rang Tim on a saturday morning, dropped the laptop off after lunch and had it back Tuesday morning working as good as new. Tim explained what the problem was and what was necessary to fix it and gave me a good price. He did what he said would, when he said he would and for the price he stated. Fast, very knowledgeable, rigorous in his approach, and yet friendly and reassuring. Tim put me at ease and successfully solved a serious issue with my hard drive which required saving the information from it and then installing a new replacement. I contacted about half a dozen companies when I wanted to upgrade the memory on my computer. Surprisingly, less than half replied. I wish I had gone straight to Tim in the first place. Computers are a dream when they work and a nightmare when they don't. Very pleased to have found Tim, who is an obvious expert with PC's and Laptops. My laptop wouldn't accept my password to logon and refused to update itself.Tim sorted this out and took the extra time to allow it to update overnight, as well as installing a new malware programme for me. After having a problem with the laptop not charging properly we took it to Tim. We also asked him to give it a general service as it was running quite slowly. Tim found a couple of viruses which he removed and provided us with another charger. He also gave us advice about backing up the system as the hard drive is getting quite old. Tim is a top chap, who is so modest, and really knows what he is talking about. My laptop was in need of urgent fixing and I rely on it heavily for business purposes. Tim was aware that I would struggle without my laptop, he lent me one of his for a couple of days and set it all up for me. Two days later Tim called to say that he had solved all the issues on my computer.
I would highly recommend Tim for all your computer repairs, a very reliable, honest man, who offers a very good service at a very good price.
