A great website is a website that serves its purpose, especially for its users. From the primary objective to the secondary one. We've all been users and buyers before, and the most common reason why we love certain brands is because of the seamlessness and ease of the website with regards to the functionality and design.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What is your primary & secondary objective for the purpose of the website?
How many pages do you want your website to have?
Do you have an idea of any specific theme, branding and colours?
What features does your website require?
Describe your creative process.
Understanding a client's end goal, then working backwards from there. If I can understand your vision, then so can our team and that way we can build a perfect trajectory based off your imagination.
We then carry out some R&D and take it further into wireframing and finding out how your website can be unique as well as matching your end goal.
Quality control is everything we work around, so if step 3 isn't perfect, we cannot yet work on step 4.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
We need as much content as possible - if not, all of it. This includes a lot of the write-ups, designs, menu's, content for pages etc. We, of course, give you a sheet and website content support to give you acknowledgements of what you need to prepare.
Most importantly before all of that, we need to finalise pricing and a timescale.
What do you love most about your job?
The fact that I work with many individuals from diverse industries and being a part of giving credibility and value to businesses. Client satisfaction, as well as an end product of quality, is what matters the most.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to have control over my own time, discipline myself and face challenges as well as reaping the fruits of how beneficial it is. I wanted a brand and something for myself rather than being un-recognised and dependent.
