Karen is amazing! She sat down with me and my daughter and developed a plan for her based on what she wanted to achieve. Her schedule was flexible and she also took the time to explain what was worked on during her session and what she noticed and areas to keep focusing on. I am new to working out, but as I age I recognize that I need to increase my overall physical strength and endurance. My only regret is that I wish I had started working with Karen at Completely Fit sooner. Since the first day working with Karen, I have gained increased strength, balance, endurance, and confidence. Karen has been patient with me and my various physical issues and adapts my workout to gain the best possible outcomes. Of all the people I’ve trained with, Karen is the most knowledgable about form and fixing your weaknesses. My husband began working with Karen at Completely Fit months before I did. With his progress being so amazing and his constant talk at dinner about how wonderful Karen was to work with and how knowledgeable she is with regards to exercises, nutrition, parts of the body, muscles, and types of programs from flexibility, cardio, core, balance, and strength that it was an easy decision for me to start working with Karen as well. She was extremely flexible with my work schedule (could see her as early as 5:30am) and really tailored a workout plan to my specific needs. My husband and I would work out together, but she individualized everything for us since he was working with a bad right knee. My husband and I are very competitive and she made working out so easy for us and a challenge that kept us both pushing through workouts even if we were tired. Karen is amazing, professional, and knowledgeable beyond any trainer I have worked with (and my husband and I were both collegiate athletes). I have been going to Karen for personal training for over 6 years. When I started in my mid 50's, I had never exercised on a regular basis. In fact, I was in pretty crappy shape overall. I have had asthma since I was a young child, so I thought I would never be able to exercise to improve my health. Well, I was wrong. Not only am I the strongest that I have been in my life, I am breathing better. Karen has helped me be stronger in both my mind, body and lungs!! As I am getting older and my old workouts are not giving me the results I used to. I am working with Karen to come up with a new workout plan that will help me obtain the results I want , but not make me so sore that I can't walk or move for my active job as a nurse. Karen is very knowledgable, motivating, and values my time. She helps me make the most of my workouts. I would recommend her to anyone, of all ages. More...

I have worked with Karen for about 6 years in a small group setting 2-3 days per week. I am always impressed at her professionalism and her knowledge of the body. She is regularly taking classes and attending seminars to keep up with new developments in the fitness field as well as the importance of nutrition along with well rounded exercise to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Karen is a great personal trainer! I worked with her for more than three years. Life got crazy and I started to find that hard core exercise stress was one stressor too many and I was getting sick too often. I have since taken up yoga but do miss coming to see Karen! She is not just a trainer but also a teacher. She teaches you how to move correctly so that when you do venture off into exercising yourself or taking up alternate forms of exercise you understand how best to move to keep yourself injury free. Completely Fit is exactly what you'll get with Karen.  If you are looking for long term fitness, if you are trying to fix nagging injuries, if you are just needing someone to move you safely and effectively to the next level of fitness, Karen will get you there.  She will find your weaknesses and problems and ensure they get corrected.  Trust me, you have weaknesses and movement problems and you can't hide them from Karen.  You will have 100% of her attention on every motion you make during your workout.  You will learn correct form and how to use the correct muscles for all functional movements.  Your workouts are based on your needs and goals. Karen has cutting edge training knowledge.  I was experiencing HIIT long before you saw it discussed in a health magazine.  If you are a teen trying to improve fitness to make a team, if you have bad knees and are hoping to avoid replacement, if you are just trying to stay healthy and fit and injury free, then Karen can help you get there whether you are 15 or 75.  It doesn't matter what your level of fitness is, Karen will make you fitter.When I started with Karen, I was a mess.  I was in chronic back pain from an injury and I thought I was reasonably fit because I ran half marathons.  Physical therapy had been a total failure and a big waste of my time and money.  I was frustrated and stuck, but "everyone" says if you have back pain, you need to be stronger.  Seemed reasonable, but I was worried that using the wrong training could make a bad problem worse.  I did a bunch of research looking for a qualified trainer to help me build strength.  I knew enough to know that most trainers hanging out a shingle did not have the level of knowledge and expertise to help me.  I needed someone who knew more than I did.  Found the Completely Fit site, liked what I saw and scheduled an interview.I had no idea that for the most part, I held and moved my body incorrectly.  I had no core strength (ok, I knew this).  My balance was terrible.  My posture was bad.  I had little flexibility.  I was feeling much older than my age after that review!  Yikes!Karen devised  a plan and I started working.  It was slow going at first as you can't untangle that kind of a mess and relearn how to move in a month.  Correct physical training involves your brain as much or more than your body.  Most shocking outcome, I "grew" 1/2 inch from untightening back muscles compressing my spine and I have abs without ever doing a sit-up.  I continue to work with Karen as I know I won't challenge myself as she will.  I'm still a work in progress.  She quietly pushes me much farther than I would ever push myself.  I'm stronger.  I'm flexible.  And most important, I can move my body correctly and mostly pain free.  Completely Fit. I was a 2 sport athlete in college and at the end of my sophomore year was diagnosed with child leukemia. At one point I was told I only had 6 weeks to live. The course of treatment and the entire process changed my life. I was told if I hadn't been in as good a shape as I was I wouldn't be here today. I want to be able to help as many people as possible, live as long a healthy life as they can.

I can relate to people who are struggling to meet their goals, I also have multiple certifications including a movement specialist and corrective exercise certification that allows me to help people with chronic pain and overuse injuries.
