Asking Tom and Billy to cater our wedding was one of the first planning decisions my husband and I made - and definitely one of the best. We knew already from their cafe that their food was drool-worthy... creative, always fresh and made with a ton of care, love and thought. Tom and Billy held our hands and led the way as we undertook the whole, long process of planning a wedding and building a space - and menu - up from scratch. They were incredibly kind and patient throughout, caring just as much, if not more, about all the small details that we didn't even know to consider. They and their staff could not have been more professional and lovely at our wedding (multiple people commented on the service), and all of the food - especially their take on fried chicken and waffles for bite-sized appetizers - was a major hit. LOVE these two and their work! More...

We really enjoy Company on Edgecombe. It's one of our frequent weekend stops when we are walking our dog Pico in the neighborhood. We especially enjoy the egg sandwiches on a croissant or a biscuit with various cheese options, gruyere being our favorite. The staff is friendly and accommodating. They even brought our food outside for us to enjoy al fresco with comfortable lap trays. Truly civilized experience. More...

I've come here twice with my friend. The food is good but everything else needs work:I think the service needs a lot of work. The employees were nice but team dynamic was struggling: orders not going in or coming out late,; some people receiving free refills, others not, and; some customers paying, others not (we could have easily walked out without paying). The employees looked generally confused with who was supposed to do what. It is also SEVERELY frustrating to see a restaurant serving food in disposable containers to customers who didn't order to-go. I cannot imagine how much waste this must generate and we will not return to this restaurant solely based on this fact. Also annoying that we pay for potato wedges and receive one potato (i.e. five pieces). But the food is good. More...

Excellent service. The eggs are free range and so succulent I overheard a woman tell the chef that the chicken and waffles are better than Amy Ruth's. I had the spinach mushroom omelette with bacon and potatoes with a side of the Sriracha aoli sauce. The coffee is fresh and a good brew. The service was quick, very personal and the environment was just pleasant. The location is fantastic for those in Harlem/Washington hts. I plan on making this place one of my usual brunch spots! A pop up restaurant that's only open on the weekends, but worth the wait. Â Nestled on a corner on a quiet street near the park, you can stroll to this cute relaxed spot and grab some delicious food. Looking forward to next time to try their lunch menu since I can only eat so much at once! More...

I live on the same block as Company on Edgecombe, so I've been fortunate enough to come here when I'm feeling lazy on Saturday or Sunday afternoons. Very friendly staff!I've ordered the farm egg sandwich with gruyere and bacon on croissant and on cheddar chive biscuit. Both are delicious and highly recommended! I've also ordered the Mexican breakfast (eggs over easy) with bacon and the turkey pot pie. These are fairly satisfying, although I wish the pot pie had more crust. This place is only open to the public for weekend lunch and it's not the best place to come in a group. Adding bacon and getting coffee with your meal will add on the dollars, so beware of spending more money than you may have intended! Nevertheless, good food and great service. More...

The BEC on croissant here might just be the best thing I've eaten in Washington Heights. I realize there's a generous amount of butter involved, but that makes it better and the whole thing is perfectly cooked. The owners, Tom and Billy, are really nice and happy to talk shop with you. Good coffee, though not Taszo-level - but that's an easy fix. Worth making the trip!Update 4/2016: the almond croissants are excellent (they have marzipan inside!) and the egg sandwich is as good as ever. It's a lot more crowded here now - I guess the word has gotten out!Update 5/2017: chaussons aux pomme was amazing. Breakfast sandwich continues to be one of the best ever. More...

This place is a godsend to the neighborhood. Superb coffee and fresh-baked treats such as light, perfect croissant; pan au chocolate (terrific); and my favorite: ham & Swiss croissant. And then, later in the day, gourmet meals to go, offered on a rotating basis, with new dishes always on the way: outstanding buttermilk fried chicken, best pulled pork I have ever had, roast chicken, turkey, lamburgers, hangar steak -- all perfectly prepared and accented with lovely spices in just the right proportions. And the side dishes, including green salads, potato salad, cole slaw, pasta salad, potato croquettes, beets, and so on. All freshly prepared and heated for you on site, if you wish.
