Upstairs for the bar. Great beer choices. They don’t do flights but they do small glasses for $3 (see pic).?Basically same thing. Pick what you want to sample. Great pours. Very nice and polite bartenders. More...

I LOVE this place!!! The food was GREAT!!! Service was even better!!! My friend got the pasta and absolutely loved it! He said it tasted angelic. Would really recommend this place to others. Came here on a school field trip to Washington DC and everyone loved it. The brownies were a little dry though, but my classmates and I were used to it. More...

Attended a happy hour farewell for a long time work friend ! Nice ambience and tasty food! I got the bbq wings and the fries. What i didn't expect was the huge basket of delicious fries! Great location to our job and I can see why she loved that place all these years . I didn't give 5 stars b/c of seating...would've been nice if they had a section for us since they knew we'd be a part of about 20 but i didn't get a great look around the entire bar to see if they could accommodate us in a more secluded area. Fab brunch in the old Fire Station in Alexandria. Bit pricey but the food is delicious. Highly recommend the hash. Good bottomless coffee too. We turned up without a reservation, but most other good places in town you needed to book. Fab selection of beers too. More...

One of the best rated tap lists in DC. It is the place to go for more than just a beer, it's an experience. The food menu is well thought out to complement the wide variety of beers available, so be prepared to nibble. As a side note, if you're also looking for a whisky, you won't be disappointed with the selection either. More...

Had a great time recently with friends on a Sunday for brunch at this place. We sat by the huge windows they have overlooking the street for a nice view. The food was delicious, I got the breakfast hash, my friends got the seasonal flat bread and the chicken and waffles, and we all loved our food! We also split an order of the donuts which was totally worth it for the sauce that comes with. Will definitely be going back here probably in the evening as they had a decent selection of drinks as well. More...

Great restaurant for a small birthday dinner! The food was excellently prepared and I and everyone in my party enjoyed every bite! Their cocktails were also delicious; I tried their take on a Moscow Mule and I would highly recommend it if you like the classic drink. The service was great, attentive (but not overly attentive) and very friendly. The atmosphere was very chic with vintage elements and I loved the style. Parking can be a little bit difficult, but that's common for Old Town. Overall, I loved this place and would love to go back! More...

Went here for NYE dinner. There was a nice atmosphere and quality service. Appetizers and drinks came out in a reasonable time given the occasion but the main entrees took quite a while to come out. The manager noticed this and resolved the issue by providing us with a free appetizer. Will definitely go back again in the future. The food was pretty tasty and fairly priced for the area More...

They have a large selection of unique microbrews. The beer list includes something for everyone. Be sure to ask which ones are rotating. I liked the fruity ones. Your can get small flights to sample and order big ones after you've tried a few. Right across from the stadium. Sometimes it takes a while to get served, but enjoy the brews and relax. The restaurant serves American eats in century-old former factory. The wings were very crisp and tasty. Would absolutely go again. More...

I never mind waiting for food at a busy spot. There must be a reason people are waiting right? The beer was on point. I had the sour and it was delicious. Even with a huge crowd and sold out of reservations the staff was great. I had the falafel burger and was far from disappointed. Highly suggest this to a local or a traveler. More...

The food was very good and the beer selection was strong, with plenty of different options all on tap and not too pricey. The dining room was open with high ceilings and plenty of seating . The outdoor area looked great but the weather was not favorable. Biggest problem was our server seemed a little overwhelmed by our large table (12 people). A few drinks took more than 10 minutes to come back, and 1 entree' order was not placed with the other orders. We worked out the dilemma and were comped the meal. Overall a nice place down near nats park. Large groups may have to be more attentive to making sure everything is noted. More...

Excellent food. I didn't try the beer but it looked fantastic. The restaurant was really nice inside and there was great outdoor seating as well. They were fine with my kids in the outdoor area even though they were a bit wild and it's not really a kid-designed restaurant. I'd like to go back sometime without the kids and have the beer! I really like Blue Jacket. I don't find myself in Navy Yard as much as I would like to go, but I often end up here for a few beers and maybe a snack. The place is spacious and modern, plus it's only about a 15 minute walk from nats stadium. Beer wise I really like Forbidden Planet, Queen of the Beach and Goldfinch.

Also our server on my most recent trip, Justin was AMAZING. Seriously, so personal and fun. Really makes great and sincere guest connections. Would go back just for him.

The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because they put us upstairs on my most recent trip and it was sweltering hot up there. Plus, we could look down and see that at least 1/2 of the first floor seating was wide open. It was about 6:30 and not too busy so I have no idea why this was their floor plan/agenda for the night. Everyone sitting up there was uncomfortable and I even saw one couple leave b/c they couldn't handle the heat. The servers with sections up there also had to trek back and forth so while they never complained we kind of felt guilty asking for things. Just, why wouldn't you keep that section closed if you're whole first floor is empty and the upstairs is a sauna? Anywhoo, will still go back!

I think this restaurant does what it intends to do quite well. The staff is pleasant, courteous and knowledgeable. The restaurant is clean, and the food seems reasonably priced. We also appreciated the warmth of the gas burning fire pits on the patio as it was late March and we chose to sit outside. That said, this restaurant, which is also a functioning brewery, caries the shiny stainless steel look throughout, and it is not an ambience that is particularly appealing to me, though clearly it must be to others. Trying to be objective, I gave this restaurant four stars, because I think for many people it will be a very enjoyable place to meet friends and have a beer, which is, after all, what restaurants of this sort are all about.
