Colleen was amazing! I knew I wanted to work with her after our trial together. She was super sweet and actually listened to what I wanted.
I was afraid of having my make up look cake-y or too over the top and what I we had achieved instead was a beautiful natural and soft look. I still felt like I was myself, but an enhanced version of myself.
She did the makeup for my mother in law, sister, sister in law and my mother as well. She was very professional and patient while working on all 5 of us.
Finding the right makeup artist that will complete your bridal look is so so important. If you want to look like your best self on your wedding day, I cannot recommend Colleen enough!

I hired Colleen for my wedding and she did an incredible job with my bridal party and I. She really listened to each of our hair and makeup visions- executing each person's look flawlessly, tying us all together as a cohesive group and somehow accentuating everyone's individual beauty even more. Colleen was wonderful! I searched long and hard to find a hair and makeup artist who could have me feeling my most beautiful on my wedding day without being too made up!
Colleen was a total professional—she listened carefully and was a huge help to me in figuring out exactly what I wanted to achieve for my wedding day look. Pictures of celebs online can be deceiving, and I'm not sure how I would've wound up looking without her to guide me to a perfect style for my hair and right amount of makeup. She was always very responsive, easy to work with, and did makeup and hair for my entire wedding party.
My only regret with Colleen is that we didn't invite her to stay for the party! I highly recommend her. :)

When looking at makeup artists for my wedding, I thought I would never find anyone who could satisfy the subtlety I was looking for, but then along came Colleen. I work on shoots all the time and so was extra critical when looking at portfolios. Colleen's work is very editorial and natural. She came and did a makeup test on me and my sister and we were sold. The day of my wedding, Colleen was cool calm and collected as she took care to ensure that not only I looked great, but my sister and best friend as well. I would highly recommend her. More...

Colleen is wonderful! I was planning my Florida Keys wedding from North Carolina so simply selecting vendors was a feat in itself. After 2 disastrous trials with other artists, I happened to come across Colleen's profile on Wedding Wire and I'm so glad that I did. Not only did I feel gorgeous on my wedding day (seriously, my skin has never looked better), but more importantly, I felt like myself. So often make up/hair artists can take things way too far over-the-top, but not Colleen. She brought out my natural beauty versus making me feel like a completely different person with a pound of makeup on. She listened to what I wanted and made it happen. Colleen was a fantastic addition to my wedding! In my search, I grew very frustrated when I continued to see very over the top looks in Makeup artists photographs (caked on make up and overdone eyes), and reading reviews where brides said they loved their makeup because they didn't even recognize themselves. That was not the look I was going for at all, so when I found Colleen and got my trial done I knew she was the perfect choice for my special day! She listened to what I liked, and made recommendations of a color palette I would not have typically chosen, but based on my eye color she trialed it and it is now my go to palette. While doing my hair, she spoke up and added her opinion, which I welcomed and we were able to come up with the perfect look based on what I was looking for. She knows what she is doing! She has really great experience with both bridal events and professional events so has the perfect mix of both for your wedding. She was very accommodating for both the trials and the day of. I wanted to get a trial done while my mom was in town and had very little notice to give to Colleen, and she rearranged her schedule to accommodate. She was also very accommodating and flexible for the day of schedule. Colleen was calm, friendly and fun to work with- I would recommend her highly to anyone. Colleen was a God-send! The girl who I had originally hired to do my makeup cancelled on me a month before my wedding day. Colleen, thankfully, was available. She turned what could've been a very stressful/terrible situation into one of the best experiences of my entire wedding planning process. Colleen was early, professional, calming, and overall the loveliest person I've ever had the pleasure of working with.
