Wouldn't hesitate to recommend, he was able to fully captivate 30 children under 7 for the entire time, which is impressive! Good value and a pleasure to work with, thank you. More...

Q&As

I started studying magic when my children were small. i bought magic sets for them but I had more fun than they did. I became a member of the world famous Magic Circle in 1997

Let’s take an 11-1 time slot as our example.

10:30 Arrival. The first thing that is set up is my backdrop, to set the scene for a real magic party, followed by my PA system. This means that well before my start time I will have music playing to get the party started. I then set my magic tables ready for the show.
11:00 Hello! As the first guest arrive there will music playing and as soon as we have a small group in I will gather the children for a little warm up game. During this game the children will be sitting where I need them for the show, this is a great way for me to get to know the children and for them to get to know me. Children can join in this games as soon as they arrive.
11:10 Balloon Warm Up. I now go into a 5 minute comedy balloon routine where I make 3 balloon animals.
11:15 A Word To The Parents! Now is the time when all the parents who are leaving their children will have left and only the parents who are staying are still in the room. I politely and with a bit of fun tell them that they are welcome to stay and watch the show but if they need to talk can they please do this outside! You know what it is like if you are at the cinema and people are talking behind you, no matter how good the film is, it’s hard to concentrate.
11:16-11:55 Show Time. A mix of magic and ventriloquism featuring Snot the Dragon and lots of audience participation.
11:55-12:15 Food. This is the only part of the party that you have to do. The break for food normally lasts 20 minutes, towards the end of the food break we all sing Happy Birthday.
12:15-12:50 Games. A mix of musical games with twists on old favourites and some unique games. For the games I split the children into two groups and they get points for their team as they go along. There are no elimination games so no one is ever left out. At the end of the games I add up all the points but I get it wrong so I don’t know who won and who lost! Eventually we decide that they are all winners and they will all get some sweets.
12:50-13:00 Magic Sweets and Dragon Posters. The birthday child comes back on “stage” with me to make some sweets for all their friends. At the end of this routine we end up with a big pot full of sweets, I tend to use Haribo packet sweets, also each child gets a “Have you seen this Dragon?” poster from me, balloon animals are also available at an extra cost.
13:00-13:30 pack up. Everything back in the car! It normally takes less than half an hour to pack away but it’s best if the hall is booked for that time.
From time to time, things will change but it is always my aim to give you the best magic party ever!

I love leaving children with happy memories of the bast party ever. These memories will last a lifetime. Do you remember seeing a magician at a party or event when you were a child?
For the parent, I take all the stress away from the day ad leave them to enjoy watching their children having a great time.
I also perform in children's hospitals, bringing smiles to these children is probably the best reward I get!

I saw the "Godfather" of children's magic Terry Herbert perform and loved watching the joy he was passing on to the children.

Experience. After 20 years I have seen, and learnt how to cope with every situation a children's entertainer can find himself with.
Snot The Dragon! My side kick is always a big hit with the kids. Ventriloquism is a skill that not every child will have seen.
