Colin was really professional and friendly from the get go! I placed a rather last minute order, and it was sorted within a week! He strived to get me the best Possible deal on my hallways/stairs/landing carpet, not to mention taking my old carpet away for me so I didn't have to worry about getting rid of it myself! The price was really good, the carpet was beautiful! And is still beautiful 7 months later! Still super soft and deep, and has been quite resistant to the kids. Why I chose Colin Charvis Flooring – In the first instance because we could find it! Unlike other stores this shop is signposted and parking is easy. We walked in the store and looked around, Colin gave us just the right amount of time to browse before he came out of the office to ask us if we needed any assistance. We hadn’t bought carpet in ages but because it was for a bedroom we didn't want to go for vinyl and all our questions were answered immediately. We chose a carpet from a stand but were unsure of the colour – Colin actually dismantled the stand to allow us to take the sample home, other stores would have not done that. We didn’t know the size of the bedroom and we made an appointment for someone to come out to measure up for us the following day. It was only a few hours after that Ali rang with prices and to say we were gob smacked is an understatement –VERY REASONABLE PRICES for QUALITY CARPET, UNDERLAY and FITTING Day of fitting – Arrived at agreed time, got to work with a vengeance, we have 2 dogs and both fitters were extremely careful not to let them out when bringing materials in and out. EFFICIENT, PROFESSIONAL, RESPECTFUL & our carpet is MAGNIFICENT – LIKE WALKING ON AIR Colin has already been up my Mums to measure up for the kitchen, my parents are both 80 years old and the knowledge that Colin has with regard to safety for the elderly is second to none – WE WILL USE NO ONE ELSE IN THE FUTURE More...
