Full disclosure: I'm a freelance writer and SEO contractor, and I've been working with CDM for a while now, but they're not in any way incentivising me to post this review. It's totally organic, and I'm posting because, of all the companies and clients I've worked with, CDM has been far and away the best possible group of people to work with. Here's why:

Working from home, or telecommuting from wherever (the life of the digital nomad) can sometimes come with a sense of flatness. Hollowness. There's a kind of ennui that comes from being a step removed, and you can start to feel out of step with the big picture. It happens, and it's no one's fault. It just sort of comes with the territory.

But whenever I start to feel that sense of ennui, I think back on some of the other work I've done, in years past. I've worked jobs that were thankless, meaningless, and utterly pointless. I've worked in offices with a hundred people, or construction teams where I didn't know anyone's name. When I think back on that kind of disconnect, it gives me context. I remember exactly and precisely why I'm working for Colibri and it gives me a surge of pride and invigoration and clarity.

Working with Colibri lets me feel like I'm making a difference. I'm more than a cog in a machine, or an easily-replaceable peon.

I can't tell you enough how valuable this experience has been, and how glad I am to work with this company.
