What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Lighting is the most important aspect. Whether in the studio or shooting outside the light has to be right for the subject. Then it's the detail. Looking across the entire view finder for any unwanted aspects, objects or obstructions is crucial to getting the best shots. My portrait and people work requires a high level of detail and styling to make sure the subjects and activities are looking their best.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What is the end use of the pictures? Is there a particular style of message that you want to convey?
What do you love most about your job?
Meeting and working with a diverse range of people. From clients and art directors to models and stylists the range is enormous and I like that.
What inspired you to start your own business?
To have the freedom to work with who I want and to have the maximum creative input into each assignment.
Why should our clients choose you?
As a professional I have a very high standard of client services. Results driven means I work hard to deliver what the client wants and to agreed budgets. Although I like working collaboratively with all my clients, ensuring they are happy with the results, I am happy to lead those that require guidance or advise and recommendations.
I am also easy going, approachable and have a very positive disposition enabling us to also have some fun whilst working.
