Excellent location walking distance into the city. About a 25 min walk. The staff were amazing. So friendly and helpful and all very chatty towards my noisy 1 year old! The food and drinks were excellent. Couldn't fault it or the prices. All very cheap. |The rooms were dated but very clean. Bedding white and clean which is all you need for a nights stay. I looked at the reviews & was sorry I booked but if you want 3 or 4 star well then pay extra money & book it..But yes it's not the that but in saying that I have a nice dinner served by roomservice. Ein tolles Hotel ( wohl umgebautes Jugendstilhaus ), welches im Restaurant (Essenbestellung bis 21.30 Uhr), den Treffpunkt der "jungen Hippen" bietet ! ! Sollte man später anreisen, bieten viele Restaurants die Auswahl, die man (und Frau) sucht und wünscht !! Das Zimmer hat sehr bequeme Betten (grosse Einzelbetten ! ). Die Zimmer und Bad sind neu renoviert !! Täglich zwischen 8.30 Uhr und 10.30 Uhr kommt der Zimmerservice, klopft an und fragt höflich, ob Wünsche erfüllt werden können, oder etwas fehlt. Auch die Hausdame ist präsent !!! Wasserkocher, Nescafé (auch entkoffeiniert ), Tee, Zucker (weisser, brauner, Süssstoff und Milch werden täglich kostenlos aufgefüllt ! Grosse Dusche mit tollen Shampoo, Duschmittel und Seife riechen angenehm (nicht so sehr aufdringlich !). Das Frühstück ist toll ! Säfte, Kaffee, Tee, Milch, Brot, Croissants, Spiegeleier, Speck, Bohnen, Joghurts, Müsli und vieles mehr !! Ein toller Blick in den Garten, den auch Grauhoernchen bewohnen ! Dieser wird dann im Sommer als Sitz,- und Liegeplatz genutzt !! Auch Extrawünsche werden erfüllt !! Warmer Kakao wurde auf Wunsch gebracht !! Haustaxi am Besten an der Rezeption bestellen !! I book this hotel every year for my dad for the cricket and wouldn’t book any other, close to Edgbaston facilities brilliant for what he needs food really good staff are all brilliant I called as my dad had forgot to take his print out ticket to get into the game they were extremely happy to re-print for him, my dad wouldn’t stay anywhere else when he watches cricket great hotel

I received so much help and support arranging everything by Michelle and they put me in contact with people who supplied the bouncy castle, softplay and slush machine at a great price.On the day the employees went out of their way to meet every request I had on the day. Stayed here because they allow pets and it has parking. Great price and clean, tidy rooms. Buffet breakfast set us up for the next day and the pool looked lovely although we didn’t have time to use it. Would definitely return
