Sylvio and crew have been excellent for us. They put in a beautiful oak staircase, custom built an entertainment wall/bookcase, made radiator covers and most recently custom built a steel plate to make our front door more secure. Working with CNS for the remodeling of our kitchen was a breeze! Silvio came to look at the space, and recommended we worked with Park slope Kitchen Gallery, which was great too. We scheduled to do this while we were on vacation, and they were incredibly flexible and responsible. They reached out with questions when something needed to be decided, but otherwise they took initiative and worked independently. They were SUPER QUICK too. We had dome our kitchen a few years ago in another place with IKEA, and the counter took 6 weeks. Silvio and his team finished everything in two weeks. CNS demolished an illegal addition, combined two illegal studios into a single apartment, and installed a new roof hatch in my Brooklyn brownstone. They were prompt, responsive, courteous, and made sure we discussed the scope and cost of change orders—never any surprise costs. The quality of their work was excellent. This is probably the 5th or 6th time I’ve used a contractor for work on one of my buildings in Brooklyn. My husband and I had a great experience working with CNS on our kitchen.  First and foremost, they are fast!  We see people doing renovations that seem to drag out forever, but our kitchen was completed in 2+ weeks, including the Caesarstone countertop installation. (They recommended someone they work with regularly who measured and installed in a week.)   Silvio who runs the business is an honest straight-shooter, and their prices are reasonable.  All the specialists he brings in -- plumbers, electric, floors -- excellent!  And for the cabinets, they worked seamlessly with Thea at Park Slope Kitchen Gallery which sped up the job and eliminated potential problems.  Running into unexpected issues is part of renovating any old house, and they addressed everything quickly and fairly.  The day to day office operations are run by Mabel, who we can't praise enough -- highly responsive and so nice!  Silvio runs CNS like a family, and you can feel the love.  Happy Happy customers! We contacted CNS and Silvio came to our house two times and also emailed us a fair estimate. to do a complete basement renovation.  He was professional, brought in his electrician and HVAC folks to look at our basement.  Unfortunately, we will not be moving ahead with this project due to personal circumstances.  I was impressed with Silvio, he and his staff returned our phone calls and emails in a timely fashion. This is an upstanding construction company with compassion for their customers! We had work scheduled and a non-refundable deposit put down, and got into an unforeseeable and unrelated battle with our landlord and realtor forcing us cancel the work to be done in fear that the landlord would not pay for it as agreed. Out of the kindness of their hearts, CNS agreed to refund our deposit given the predicament we were in. Chivalry is not dead! More...

We had our kitchen and part of our bathroom done by CNS. They were recommended by someone in our block association.  CNS excels at communication and promptness.  Unfortunately, our kitchen floor was laid improperly; however, when the tiles and grout began to fail, I contacted CNS. They immediately sent over some workers and retiled our floor. Yes, it was an inconvenience to have your floor ripped up again, but we were so pleased that CNS took responsibility and fixed the problem.  Despite the initial problem, I would hire CNS again.
