When I lived in Portland I took my dogs there for overnight stays. They have always been very kind and took great care of my pups. When I was selling my PDX house, I had to board my dogs for a month. They allowed me to visit whenever I wanted. They really do care about dogs, and they are professionally qualified to do doggie day, boarding, and they also teach classes. I sent them an e-mail letting them know I had to put my dog down. I got a lovely note from Meagan. If I still lived in Portland I would continue to bring my dog to them. We've been taking our dogs here for a year now. We have three different dogs with three different personalities. Our dogs don't always behave but Amber and her staff know how to handle dogs. I trust Amber and her staff with the well-being and safety of my dogs so much that I boarded them for the first time ever for five days. The dogs came back clean with their nails trimmed and happy. It's a bit of a drive for us but I will continue to support her business and bring my dogs here as they love it and get so excited whenever I get off the freeway because they know where they're going. I've had pretty good experiences with them! I found them on Instagram which is amazing because they update on how the dogs are doing throughout the day! And I've been following the page for some time now! They definitely know how to wear out my six month golden doodle! At first it was hard because like any parent no ones just likes to leave their kids anywhere but I was able to talk to the staff a bit more and they made me feel Secure and comfortable about leaving him there! Today was his third day at doggie day care and it went amazing! Thank you to the owner who brought her boxer to help wear out butters!!! You can't find a better daycare or boarding option. I love this place almost as much as my dog does. The staff is awesome and they do a great job working with the dogs and tending to their individual needs. The facility is great and caters to both big dogs and small dogs. I've had my dog here for boarding several times and I'm always comfortable leaving him there because I know he loves it so much. As a dog trainer and pet store employee, North Portland Club K-9 is one of the very few dog daycares I trust and recommend to customers. The facility is clean, safe and designed with dogs in mind. The staff is trained to understand dog behavior and interactions (a rare thing for dog daycare staff, believe it or not!) and only positive training is used with the dogs, whether it's during daycare hours or training classes. Love this team. They take such good care of our pups when we have to travel. Always super accommodating. Sometimes even on holiday weekends with relatively short notice. Send video updates of doggos while they're there. Instagram posts also are nice to see how the playing is going. Our dog attended daycare here for the last two years, once a week. We also boarded him a few times. The staff is friendly, helpful and attentive. Our dog always looked forward to his days here and came home tired. Staff called us right away when they noticed anything concerning such as our dog limping one day. They even got him into boarding at the last minute once due to an emergency. We felt reassured knowing our dog was in good hands and having this as an option for days when scheduling made it tough to get enough exercise for our dog or when we were going out of town. There isn't enough space for me to write all the nice things about club k9. We have been bringing our dog here since he was a puppy and he loves it! We have taken our pup to many other dog daycares in and around the portland area and have had great and not so great experiences and club k9 is at the top of our list and the only place I would take him now. He has had some hurdles for him to work through with new people and the people at k9 have been so so so great with helping us and him work through it. They have been patient with him and us and given us extra information on how to handle his behavior. I know when we leave town and can't take him with that he is with people who will take care of him. I could’ve sworn I wrote a review! Club K-9 Tigard is amongst the best dog pet care facilities close to the Portland area. Well rounded daily structure owned by a dog behavioral specialist. The daily schedule benefits almost all the furry friends who enter. If certain accommodations are truly needed to be made for any individual dog they will surely be met! Keep in mind that all dogs can be unpredictable at times. They may seem fine one moment and then the next they snap. So rest assure that if one dog happens to bite your pup staff will take the appropriate action to prevent it from going further! Staff are not spider man for god sakes! They can’t just instantly appear from one end of the room to another. Either way I felt completely confident bringing my boy there. I never once felt like he wasn’t safe. Oh! And not to mention how productive and fun the training they have is! Thanks for taking care of my boy Aires while we still came when we did. Club K9 will always be on the top of my list. What makes Club K-9 fantastic is the staff! The staff has always been friendly, informative, and responsive, qualities I highly appreciate. Augustus has been with Club K-9 for almost 3 years now, and the fact that he has his “people” away from home is comforting. In the 3 years we have been using Club K-9’s services from Doggy Daycare to Boarding we have never had a bad experience. Augustus knows the word “school” and gets really excited when I tell him, “let’s got to school”, that speaks volumes about the care and time the staff gives to all of the pups in their care. Not only do I love this place, but my dog does too. She drags me into the building when we arrive for drop off, and always comes out of the building happy, and DEAD tired. I've come from a background of working in dog daycares so I'm VERY skeptical and picky with where I take my own dog, and this place fits my standards completely. The staff are so sweet, and you can tell they really care about the dogs. They are also totally transparent with your dog's behavior and what is going on in the facility, which I appreciate. They also put up with my crazy, loud, water and hose obsessed dog so that gives them brownie points right there :).The only issues they have, is that they are popular, so if you need a last minute reservation on a weekday, it's really hard to get in (I can't really blame them too much for that though)... and I do wish they were open a little later on weekdays, I have to have my dog come for 1/2 Days, go pick her up, and go back to work because their hours don't work as well with my schedule, but that all is just my preference. I wish I could come and stay all day! I don't know about you, but it's so hard for me to feel confident when I drop my baby off and leave for hours or days. I can say with full confidence that this is the only place I will bring my kids! The staff clearly show that their job is more than just a job. They love their job. They love your pet. My dog Tony goes here and he loooooooves it. He spins around in circles when he knows he gets to go to "school." We love that they're right in our neighborhood, and everyone that works here has always been just great. It is a bit more expensive than other places, but I've never once had an issue here with daycare or boarding, and i can't say that about any other place I've taken my dog to so its worth it for the peace of mind. They also have a big enough staff to watch the dogs carefully to prevent squabbles and such that will happen when you have a bunch of dogs together. A++ in my opinion! More...

Rating based on the excitement my dog gets when he realizes he’s going to Club K-9! I’ve been bringing my dog here since he was 13 weeks old. I have used their boarding and Doggy Daycare services. It tells me a lot when I can see how much my dog loves this place! The only downfall is that now you have to book days in advance because they get booked quickly. I can no longer do a walk-in.
