I recently turned to Clinic4Sport for help to get rid of a stubborn knee injury. The injury had kept me from running and cycling for a bit over a month, but the excellent treatment and rehab guidance from Samia and Mo got me back on track in a few weeks. Not only did they help me to fix my knee issue, but they also gave me exercises and tips on how to proceed with my training and make progress as an athlete without getting injured again. They're both very professional and knowledgable within their fields, and I recommend going to them with any exercise related injuries. I will definitely go back with any future issues should it be needed. More...

Q&As

Healthy diet supplies our body with the essential vitamins, minerals, proteins, carbohydrates and fats to enhance the functioning and well being. It is recommended to have a regular intake of three meals during the day to have a regular energy supply and maintain a healthy metabolism. If insufficient number of meals are being indulged, it automatically slows down the metabolism as body is trying to conserve the energy by converting it into fat and depositing for the future use which results in undesirable weight gain.

All our programs are being designated individual and sports specific. We take in to consideration client availability for training, age, current fitness level, preferred training methods (eg. cable machines, body weight, free weight etc.) and more. In addition, we are regularly monitoring our client progress and updating the programs accordingly to the progress.

Motivation, dedication, consistency and hard work is a key in successfully gaining the shape of your dream!!!

That our effort has a positive influence on someones well being - we do not see anything more rewarding than that.

After being involved in a number of different sports and having to go through numerous injuries that in the long run had a major impact on my pursuit of becoming a professional athlete, I have decided to do my best to help others to prevent the same scenario that happened to me. Moreover, I am fascinated about the musculo-skeletal anatomy and its functioning, hence, never stop learning something new.

Because we approach every person as an individual and tailor our program so it would fit personal needs because none of two injuries behave and respond to the treatment exactly the same, We are passionate about what we do and have a great confidence in our ability to get you back to your sport at your your full potential.

Services

Physiotherapy is a science-based profession and takes a ‘whole person’ approach to health and well-being, which includes the patient’s general lifestyle.

Physiotherapists help people affected by injury through movement and exercise, manual therapy, education and advice. They maintain health for people of all ages, helping patients to manage pain and prevent disease.

The profession helps to encourage development and facilitate recovery, enabling people to stay in work while helping them remain independent for as long as possible.

At the core is the patient’s involvement in their own care, through education, awareness, empowerment and participation in their treatment.

An Osteopathic treatment appointment will include therapy for your injury, exercise prescription and any relevant scan referrals.

Osteopathy is a way of detecting, treating and preventing health problems by moving, stretching and massaging a person's muscles and joints.

Treatment is based on the principle that the well-being of an individual depends on their bones, muscles, ligaments and connective tissue functioning smoothly together.

• The number of treatments you require will depend on your condition and your Osteopath will discuss this at the appointment.

• We will always tell you what the optimum or most appropriate course of injury therapy based on current evidence and research.

• Please wear comfortable clothing so you can move freely. Trainers, a loose top and shorts or a tracksuit are ideal.

Osteopaths are fully trained and insured to offer you the following range of treatment modalities including: Dry needling acupuncture Manual therapy –improving movement within a joint Soft Tissue Therapy – deep tissue massage and fascial techniques Exercise prescription for you injury Biomechanical analysis of your posture

• Our clinics specialises in treating sports injuries and we are here to help you get back to your chosen sport safely. We can assist you with correction of mechanical movement faults and we use a combination of hands-on treatment with structured sports specific exercises as well as practical advice to get you started in the road to recovery right away.

• If you need further scans to fully understand your injury, we will write to your GP and request a scan. Although this referral process can take time, it is free of charge for you. An alternative option, to get a scan within 2 days of being seen, is to refer you privately to The London Imaging Centre. Where we can get prompt images. All we need to do is simply fill in a referral form at the time of your appointment with us.

Injury Treatment is a thorough physical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and from there we will work with you to develop a rehabilitation plan.

• A full history of your problem and a medical history is taken and documented

• Please note, even if another professional has diagnosed you with a particular condition, we will still need to carry out our own assessment.

• Your therapist will want to look at the area of your body that is causing you problems so you may need to remove some of your clothes and you will not be asked to remove any more clothing than necessary.

• Please wear comfortable clothing so you can move freely. Trainers, a loose top and shorts or a tracksuit are ideal.

• After your examination, findings will be discussed with you and a treatment plan will be outlined and explained in a way that you understand.

• If our therapist believe that exercises are a way to get you better these will be explained and demonstrated and in some instances exercises will be sent to you via email after your appointment.

• If you need further investigations to help solve your problem; this many include an X-ray, MRI scan or orthopedic consultant’s opinion, then we will liaise with the appropriate consultant and your GP to enable this to happen.

• We have contacts with the London Imaging Centre in Harley Street and we can directly refer you for an XRAY or MRI via our clinics.

• We also liaise with other practitioners such a Pilates & Yoga instructors, Personal Trainers, Sports Nutritionists and Sports Psychologist thus ensuring a multidisciplinary approach to your treatment to ensure the best outcome from your appointments with us.

Massage therapy is highly recommended as an addition to your injury rehabilitation, or simply relax your muscles after a hard day!

Our highly experienced and fully qualified and insured massage therapists can provide you with Sports Massage (deep tissue), Relaxation Massage (gentle pressure) or pregnancy massage (12 weeks +).

• Rehabilitating any injury can a frustrating process and massage therapy is designed to relieve/prevent muscle strains and further complications helping to restore balance in your musculoskeletal system and helping you get back on track faster

• While one of the main goals of physical rehabilitation is to increase strength, flexibility and mobility, it often ends before the area has been returned to its full pre-injury state. Massage plays a vital part in returning your muscles to a healthy and functional state to play a sport and participate in daily activities

• Massage helps the body pump more oxygen and nutrients into the damaged tissues by increasing blood flow. This can allow the area of injury to become more mobile and potentially heal at an accelerated rate

• At Clinic4Sport you will be treated by a fully qualified and insured massage therapist who will ask you about any pre-existing medical conditions and injuries before the massage starts, so that we can determine any possible precautions and to provide recommendations for the types and techniques of massage therapy that will optimise your individual results

We take the most up to date and evidence based techniques to provide an effective personal sports rehabilitation training programme to help you achieve your goals. No matter what your goal we are confident that we can motivate you to achieve them in an effective and fun way.
