Beautiful hotel with a great service. Room had plenty of space, very clean and quiet. Ours had a nice garden view. Breakfast is excellent with one of the best "full English breakfast" that we've ever had and a variety of local products such as jams and cereals as well as yogurts. I would strongly recommend it and can't wait to go back and spend another long weekend there! More...

Lovely place, allowed us to entertain family for dinner in their sitting room and restaurant, food was excellent, Jack in particular was kind and very patient with us.

A friend of mine got married here on Monday and I can't recommend the venue highly enough! The staff were extremely friendly, professional and attentive. Me and my husband celebrating our first valentine's day at The Cliff House after getting married there in November. This truly is our favourite place and not just for the fond memories.

The cliff house hotel hosted my daughters 30th birthday party. Here are her words
..."As soon as I walked into the hotel I was warmly greeted by Chamane who coordinated events. She took me through to the bar area which was luxuriously decorated and the bar staff were welcoming. Throughout the arranging of my party Chamane was in constant communication with me and nothing was too much trouble. On the party night itself I had a fabulous night celebrating with friends and family. The staff came around with canapés which were moorish and my guests were ever so impressed with the high levels of hospitality and service. They all said that they will definitely come back and visit for afternoon tea or lunch. They will also recommend friends and family to stay at the hotel. 2nd visit to this hotel – this time for a friend’s 60th Birthday Party, so this time we decided to stay the night.
When we arrived we were greeted by the general manager Tim, who booked us in swiftly. Answered all our questions and showed us to our room. Really friendly and helpful.
Our room was beautifully laid out, with those little extra touches, Wi-Fi (my husband cannot live without Wi-Fi), espresso coffee machine, and lovely bathroom toiletries. Adored our bed, very comfortable.
Stunning tall candle holders throughout the hotel, I want one!!!
Tim, the General Manager was on hand the whole night, ensuring everyone had a good night. Even the owner of the hotel Andrew, was there as well to greet all the guests.
The food they served for the birthday party for over a 100 guests was A M A Z I N G!!! The food was 5* ++. I am a fussy eater but was full up from the canapés alone, which the staff kept on bringing out, there seem to be an endless supply of beautifully presented food, could not resist the fish pie served, and as for the desert, well I had two.

The bar staff worked tirelessly and always with a smile, exceptional service at all times. A special mention to Claudio and Olivier, in bar lounge.
I am going to have to mention the entertainment, sorry I did not catch their name but they were extremely professional and got us all up dancing.

The staff are a credit to the management, nothing was too much trouble. This management team certainly know how to handle an event, very detail orientated.
Breakfast - service and food lived up to the previous night. Nothing was too much trouble, delicious breakfast. An exceptional professional set up.
This boutique hotel is elegant with outstanding service. I will be going back hopefully in the near future. More...

came here last week for an afternoon tea . It as the best one I've ever had ..even better than all the Groupon ones ever ! I just love his hotel .The staff are really helpful and nothing is too much ..the sandwiches and cakes were gorgeous and really unusual .we will be back

We celebrated my Mum's 90th Birthday with a lovely afternoon tea. A beautiful hotel and garden. The food was fab as was the service. There were 19 of us and we were looked after by Fred. He couldn't do enough for us and was especially helpful to the 'oldies'. I would certainly recommend to anyone looking to organise an event. Thank you all. More...

Was at the Cliff House Hotel on Sunday evening June 25th celebrating a private birthday party!

It was a lovely evening and I wanted to compliment the staff as they were amazing behind the bar. They were happy friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble.

The tapas food buffet was also delicious and beautifully presented.

Never been before,my daughter Nicole was singing there, went with friends, lovely surroundings, friendly staff, great cocktails, relaxed atmosphere the food looked very nice, our friends all enjoyed.
