I was a guest at a wedding there recently. I have not had food at a wedding that good in a long time. The food was hot, tasteful, and seasoned nicely. Big Show/ Cleveland Catering really did a fantastic job catering our wedding. I told them I would recommend them A+ to everyone. The food was fantastic and very timely. To us, that was the most important thing. Nothing too out there and nothing too bland. It was perfect. The plates were empty and that tells it all. They delivered everything as promised and more. Our reception was everything we wanted. They are very organized and guided us through all the overwhelming steps. The staff was very attentive and paid attention to all the little details I would not have thought of. It was really a wonderful experience and they took a lot of stress off by handling so much. We were very frugal with our budget and was unsure what we would be able to accomplish but The Fountain Bleau made it so nice! The fact that they included the cake, had centerpieces, and we could bring in our own alcohol was were we could save so much to allow more bang for every dollar spent. No regrets here.! More...

I cannot say enough about what a great job they did. We had special dishes we wanted prepared and all of them were wonderful. Every detail came off exactly as we wanted, and we had alot! I don't know how they do what they do! This whole wedding process was overwhelming. I cannot imagine doing it every weekend and staying sane. Big Show Catered my wedding and did a fabulous job. We wanted a rustic chic wedding and it turned out exactly like a I wanted. They had great menu ideas and the food was really good. Most importantly, my guests were all commenting on how good the food was. WE were on a budget and the sales coordinator really help me squeeze all the important things to me into what we wanted. I really enjoyed the food. They allowed us to customize some dishes, and even replicated a family recipe. We also had some gluten free and vegan guests; they took care of them, no problem! Our winter wedding was wonderful. We had the ceremony inside, and The Fountain Bleau had all we needed: arches, microphones, podiums, sound systems, and decorations. They are right near Lake Erie so the pictures at the beach turned out so beautiful with the snow on the sand. There was a discount for off season, and we could bring in our own alcohol. They guided us on what to purchase and their bartenders were very professional. They had a fountain for our specialty His & Her drink and it looked very elegant. The highlight was for sure the food. What a great experience we had! The rooms are absolutely beautiful. They really keep everything up to date; even the centerpiece offerings and linen colors. They offer every color in napkins at no charge, plus they had uplighting. The chairs are very expensive and an off white leather with a slight gold trim. Very beautiful. No need to get chair covers! We used that money for our honeymoon along with the money we saved being able to bring in our own liquor. If you want to impress your guest and great food and romantic ambiance, go there! My reception was here last month. It was everything I wanted! I was worried when I saw some bad reviews. They kindly explained the real version. I am posting this review because the Fountain Bleau was obviously telling the truth. The coordinators were genuinely nice people, professional, the room was beautiful, and the food was so good. I have never been to a wedding where they served everyone so timely and the food was still piping hot. There was lots of time for dancing. So many people stayed until the very end. I asked them how many events they had catered and I was event 10,031 after 25 years of being in business. That says alot! They are experts at what they do!!! I hope this is a review that TRULY is helpful. I was at a friends wedding last weekend and the food was no where as nice as mine. Our company, The Fountain Bleau, has been in business for nearly 50 years, and caters over 15 events a week, almost a thousand in a year on the average. Weekly, customers send us thank you emails or calls about the wonderful food and service. If there is an issue, which rarely happens, we rectify it. However, in the case of "Riley's" review below, we must respond. I can never fault a customers opinion, but untruths are not acceptable. We never treated Riley with any thing but kindness and responded to every email and call with in two business days. However, Riley was very volatile at the booking, and then again the day before when setting up; towards not only her family but our staff. The Mother and Aunt issued an apology. It is upsetting for a bride that no outdoor ceremony and pictures can occur when there is a torrential downpour and flood warnings. However, despite the fact the bride refused to make a rain plan, when the rain did fall, our staff remained calm, and created a lovely indoor ceremony and reception that the guests raved about. Words cannot express the amount of great things I can say about my wedding night. Not only was it the happiest night of my life but the real icing on the cake was the hospitality and the professionalism that the Fountain Bleau presented. From the first initail conversation with Mellisa, I knew I chose the best place to have my wedding. She was very open and understanding the type of wedding I wanted and I knew for myself this was a great choice. The prices here met my standards beyond compare, so that made me jump to this place even faster. Once the day was here me and my family were greated with the upmost respect and they cared about what we needed to make sure, it was my special night. AND THE FOOD!! OMG! Mouth watering food, let me just tell you. You wont be disappointed. Especially when we got the strawberry topped ice cream. They put on a great performance, which I was a huge fan of. The bartenders got the lines moving fast, and were very professional! While the wedding was going on the bussers were fast and quick and served all the tables with the upmost respect. The bussers made me laugh because they were also bussing and dancing at the same time. Once the night came to an end, the supervisor greeted us with the left over food and opened our card box for us. Melissa and her staff were very easy to deal with. Since this was a military wedding, the date changed 3 different times. Melissa was extremely accommodating with these changes as well as the numbers that changed at the last minute . Fountain Bleau is a wonderful venue, we used the larger room. We picked this venue because of the cost and the food. The catering packages were very affordable and there was plenty of options to choose from. The coordinator was very nice and helpful with centerpiece, colors and cake options. The reason I gave a 3/5 for responsiveness was because she was a little late to respond via email or phone. I would email her and not get a response for 3-4 days. Even as it got closer to the wedding, the response was very lax. Also, when we saw the room before the reception, there were a couple of things that were not placed where we planned, but they were fixed as soon as I said something. Fountain Bleau and Melissa were amazing!! With our budget, I did not think we would be able to afford such fabulous food! We still have people coming to tell us that it was the best wedding food they have ever had . Melissa is very detailed oriented and creative, and came up with so many cute ideas to make our wedding one of a kind. While its a little far from hotels, and the outside does not look that nice, the inside will blow you away! Absolutely gorgeous chandeliers and chairs. If you are trying to throw a big (200+) wedding on a budget, this is the place to go for a fantastic wedding! Also, we did our rehearsal dinner through them as well at the Big Met, and they provided us with a discount for using their services for both. We had both our wedding and reception here. We choose the Fountain Bleau for several reasons. We liked the size of the burgundy room for our approx. 125 guests. The room was beautiful with really nice chandeliers. We were able to hold the ceremony with our guests seated at their tables and everyone could still see what was going on. Fountain Bleau also allows you to bring in your own alcohol. This is important to us since the majority of our guests wouldn't be drinking and we didn't want to be charged as such. The food was excellent and we had many compliments from our guests. We also had Fountain Bleau make our wedding cake. We were blown away. The cake was amazing!
