They are patient and kind and offer a variety of mental health and addiction services. Now of course there are things that can be improved as with any business but over the years and through moving to this new location I have seen them implement new changes in order to provide better care for clients and to keep this a safe place to come to. As with any place that offers these services sometimes there are differences that require working on (group therapy) but that is why we are here. We are all on a journey to improve ourselves and we all have work to do. Some people like to blame their life problems on the staff but as we say in recovery "if I am not the problem there is no solution" (not a quote from here- it's a saying we use in NA). The staff here will go out of their way to help you if you are helping yourself. If you are not doing so your services may be rather basic, not neglectful, but basic. As in they aren't not going to fight to make you better, that is your job. But if you are going that extra mile they will run it with you. So this place has a "no nonsense approach" which if I am honest is part of what saved my life. The first time I came here I couldn't complete the program, I wanted them to do the work for me and I got suspended. I was angry at the time but now I see that's the best thing they could have done for me. They had given me chance after chance and I continued to self destruct. Their program structure here works pretty well and is personalized to your individual needs. If you are looking for a place that deals with dual diagnosis they do that just make sure to ask for a therapist that specializes in both. For addiction services there are phases 1-4 and when you first start out you see your doctor weekly, therapist. A minimum of 2x per month and go to group 2x per week and a psychiatrist monthly (if you choose to). Over time you see the doctor less and less and in phase 2 you only have to go to group 1x a week. It's up to you how fast you phase. You have to work for it as you should. You do not have to be a MAT patient to get help with your addiction. This place does not offer case management (which if there was one thing they could do to make this place better it would be add that for those who wish to participate), they do not offer sober living homes but will try to refer you where applicable. This is a smaller operation but they do have a North office as well. Make sure you keep your appointments, it is hard to get in last minute and missing too many may have consequences. More...

Dr. Corney has been a Godsend! Clearing Paths is not the place for impatient people. You may have a 3:30 Dr appt and not be seen until 5pm but the Doctor will address every issue you want to talk about and take as much time as needed with each patient.
