Gemma visited my home to assess my needs and to find a cleaner that she felt was appropriate for me. The cleaner also visited my home beforehand to discuss with me what I needed help with. This was a great approach to having a cleaner for the first time and gave both of us a chance to run through our requirements and expectations. How long have you been in business?
I have been operating in your local area since July 2016 and have thoroughly enjoyed meeting and building relationships with both clients and cleaners alike.
Do you bring your own equipment and supplies?
The majority of our customers provide their own equipment and cleaning materials. There are a few good reasons for this: It stops cross contamination from one house to another e.g. pet hairs on vacuum cleaner brushes. Some clients prefer a certain fragrance from products. Most clients know what works well in their homes and prefer to use a certain brand of products
Products and equipment provided by clients will be included in the £2M liability insurance which is attached to every household.
What do you love most about your job?
I personally visit every client to establish their requirements and all cleaners are interviewed in their own home. After the first clean I always call the client and am so delighted to hear when I have matched them up well and the client is satisfied with the service, however, by listening and being responsive I am able to deal with situations immediately if they arise.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I enjoy working with people and providing an excellent customer service.
I always knew starting a business would mean I could put my mark onto my work and feel directly responsible for its success.
