Claytons were really good and quick on our move, we are renting through them and we requested the tenancy agreement to be sent asap so we could send it to the council so we could get a place in local school, they sent it within a few hours of us asking and were very helpful in getting it signed. I have dealt with many estate agents over the years but I can honestly say that Claytons have been one of the best. Valerie came round last October to take photos of our house and we said that we didn't want the property marketed just yet as we had not found anywhere to purchase. She was brilliant. She didn't harass us at all and would call us every now and again just to check how things were going. I thought they were professional and we didn't feel pushed at all in marketing our property. When however we made the call, they were brilliant. Within a couple of hours the property was on the website and an open day was arranged for the following week. I cannot recommend them enough. I've been dealing with Claytons for over 15 years firstly as a tenant, then a buyer and for the past 10 years as a landlord. In 2002, my wife and I moved to Australia and have retained our property in North Watford as an investment. The service we've received from Claytons and Coral in particular has been first class. The guys are really tuned in to the fact that we live on the other side of the world, making things easy for us to own a property so remote. We have moved into a "fully managed" agreement with Claytons and they now literally take care of EVERYTHING - removing the worries and making the job of being a landlord incredibly easy. We would definitely recommend Claytons - they were a huge help in selling our House in Abbots Langley. They got us an impressive amount of viewings in a short space of time and we achieved a great sale price! Both Valerie and David were really helpful and supportive throughout the process - e.g. discussing at the start the various options we had, and what tactics we should use to give ourselves the best chance of finding a buyer. Whenever we left phone messages/emails, they contacted us quickly - something which many estate agents are not great at doing. Our only DISAPPOINTMENT was that they were not selling the house we purchased in Abbots Langley as we were not at all impressed with the service offered by that agent!.
