Great service and very close to the terminals but book direct - subscribe to their emails to get a discount. Don't use third party systems, they initially look cheaper but then are totally inflexible and charge you in some cases an additional 100%... Nope I'm not joking.

Highly recommend this hotel. Upon arrival the receptionist was so helpful. Thank you so much to Innes she couldn't do enough for us. This is our 2nd visit here & it won't be our last. The food is out of this world & excellent value. The staff are so friendly & helpful & can't do enough for you. The rooms are so comfortable & spotlessly clean. The hotel is lovely & very clean. Fantastic hotel so close to the airport. We|Parked at the meet and greet in the airport as we travelled down from Scotland and after calling the shuttle we were shortly picked up by Jim the driver - who is really helpful and may give you a few tips with regards to the hotel and going to the airport the next day. ||The hotel is lovely and the room was excellent - modern, spacious and really good facilities. We used the bar for a drink that night and it was nice with a good selection.||We booked our shuttle for the morning after and Jim once again took us to the airport with a good bit of chat and some more hints and tips. ||If we ever fly from Manchester again we’ll 100% come back. Our standard room was quiet and comfortable with all the amenities we needed. The staff members we came in contact with were extremely polite, friendly and helpful. The "piece de resistance" in your provision for guests, in our opinion, is the free shuttle bus to and from the airport/ railway station at all hours. During our one day stay we were able to spend that day in the city where we made good use of the free buses to see the sights.If ever in Manchester again we would definitely book into the Clayton and advise all our friends and relatives of the good value offered. I stayed at the Clayton Hotel Manchester for 1 night as I had an early morning flight and was so impressed. The room was very spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the food at the restaurant delicious. Really nice hotel and lovely rooms however the food wasn't great, especially for the prices being charged. We did only order room service so I can't comment on the standard in their restaurant but the pizzas we ordered left a lot to be desired. The margherita was basically just tomato sauce pizza with an extra light sprinkle of cheese and both pizzas were burnt underneath. We had one hell of a time trying to get to the hotel, and because we were directed back on to the motorway, it took us a long time before we eventually reached the hotel. Booked hotel as part of park and stay have stayed at Clayton many times previous only this time the pillows were like bricks to sleep on so never really got a decent sleep prior to our flight to Mexico.
