Visited recently for rheumatology appt.. I have a somewhat rare and unusual condition and have suffered badly at the hands of doctors in the past as they simply don’t understand my condition. . This place was different.. Again my condition is not something they usually deal with except for offering orthotics however they could not do enough to help me.. The professionalism care and empathy I was offered here is something with which I have rarely come across.. I am looking forward to seeing what help I can be offered after my initial appt.. Many thanks to all I have met there..P.s Very best radiographer iv ever met.. Explained clearly and precisely what she wanted me to do and didn’t rush me.. when I was in pain she adjusted her approach to get the best results without ever quering my efforts.. I visited Chapel Allerton hospital today as I was unable to get a G.P appointment (5.30pm) and in alot of pain due to an abscess on my toe. Although this hospital doesn't have an A&E dept, I was told they don't have the 'facilities' and there were no doctor's or nurses available to see me - IN A HOSPITAL?? (this coming from a nurse in a white uniform) who even found it amusing when I explained I didn't have transport to get to another hospital in Leeds. Disgraceful. This nurse needs to significantly improve her attitude towards patients, however many thanks to the helpful lady on reception for her efforts in at least trying to find a solution. More...

We first met Steve just over a year ago. We were drawn in by his reasonable prices and great photographic examples on his website. On our first meeting he was very warm and friendly, it was at this point we arranged what photographs we wanted taking on our wedding day. Earlier this year I decided that it would be nice to have a photo shoot before our wedding which I organised as a birthday present for my now husbands birthday - an engagement shoot. The results were amazing and gave us a renewed confidence of what our wedding photos would look like. Speed forward to our wedding day, Steve arrived when he said he would, was very professional and made the whole process as stress free as possible. I had a shoot with Steve today, and it went excellently. He helped me out with a few poses esp. positioning of the arms and turning the body, and we were able to have a good laugh and chat in a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere whilst still maintaining a professional setting. We shot in his home studio, I provided two different types of dress and also a shirt for a more casual look. I was able to really practice my posing, and crack out many different poses, which I'm grateful to Steve for, as it was a great opportunity for me.

I can't wait to see what the pictures look like, but I'm sure they'll be amazing. He offered to help suggest some poses to me as well, however I took it as an opportunity to practice what I know (with some guidance if my poses looked dodgy, of course). He even gave some more technical information to me on clam shell lighting, how it bounces off of walls, how the way the figure is angled can make all the difference, and much more. Steve is fantastic, very friendly and professional! He came to see me at my house prior to my wedding reception to go through what I wanted with photos etc arranged times and on the day he was always willing to get the perfect shot with friends and family and of course the bride & groom :) already received a few sneaky photos and can’t wait to see the rest of them!
