Clare Gelderd Photography

Well what I can say,, I stumbled across Clare on Facebook after she had been recommended to me by a friend, Clare came to our house and I can honestly say that within 5 minutes I knew she was the photographer for us and what an amazing photographer she is! We had a pre wedding shoot where she made me and my hubby feel so at ease that we couldn’t wait to see her again for the big day! So the wedding day finally arrived and after being up at 5am Clare arrived to the house for preparation pics and everyone warmed to her and felt so at ease it’s almost as if she was part of the family and had know us for years! From pictures of my dress (with the cheeky cat) to helping me in my dress and being with us untill well into the evening Wonder Woman clare was then sending me little snippets at midnight! I couldn’t honestly recommend Clare enough she is AMAZING at what she does and simply a kind and beautiful woman both inside and out! We are a bit late posting this but Clare was our photographer at our wedding in July. I can say that we received a 5* sevice from the start. I loved that most of the photos were taken naturally there was only a few that we posed for. We didn't really know she was there for most of the day. All my guests complimented on how nice and professional she was. She even helped to do my dress up so bonus extra :). The end result of the photos are amazing. In my opinion the best wedding photographer ever! From meeting at a wedding event to doing an engagement shoot to then our wedding Clare was amazing! No job too big literally anything I wanted to do Clare did. She even helped me into my dress, at one point was climbing to get my heavy dress to hang from the ceiling for a particular shot. The great thing I loved was all our guests said they felt totally at ease didn't feel like a camera lense was shoved in there face all day. They loved that Clare even had a dance before leaving at the end of the night! Professionalism smis amazing and loves to do that something different which we loved. Booking Clare was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding and was priced brilliantly for the quality of work and then turn around time should and charge a lot more. Simply amazing !! Used Clare for my dog portrait, absolutely fantastic images, she knows how to work the dog to get the right pose.My family also used Clare for their wedding, she has an eye to capture special moments. Had some pics of my little ppl done a couple of weeks ago! Shoot was in the woods. Initially I was a bit stressed about the whole thing and when we got there my little ppl were tired and the littlest just wasn't happy! then it rained ... Dawn and I are very lucky.
We discovered a great photographer at a wedding fair at the wedding venue.
Now doing a little photography myself I know what I am looking at.
What I really liked about Clare Gelderd was the fact she didn't try to blind us with science or bull shit, she let her photographs do the talking.
She didn't just have a selection of her "best shots", but would let you look at what ever you like.

Had a sitting for my 15 day old little boy today, Clare was excellent and very patiant with him. Would highly recommend. Top class service
Clare has also photographed my son again on 3 other occasions, at 6 months old, his christening day, and also again at 18 months old. Each time Clare was fantastic and got some excellent shots that I will cherish forever. Nothing is to much trouble and she makes everyone relaxed and happy to be photographed. Top class service and you get your prints back really fast.
