Clare was fantastic she put us all at ease and made my mother and me look fabulous for my special day! She was fun friendly and so helpful and really listened to what I wanted to look like and just made me look and feel spectacular! I have never felt as confident and beautiful as I did on my wedding day and that's down to Clare. I met Claire this Saturday where she done my makeup beautifully and made me feel beautiful for my bodybuilding competition. Claire done an amazing job on my makeup as it lasted the whole 12 hours of being at the venue and this was important as it was such a long day as well as being under stage lighting. The makeup Claire used was fab and it felt so light on my skin, which was amazing as I was expecting it to feel heavy and it was totally the opposite! I highly recommend Claire as she is such a lovely person and an amazing makeup artist as she really knows her stuff, wish I lived in York to have the experience of her doing my makeup again! Clare came today to give my mum a make up lesson! (Something my non make up wearing Mum has asked for!) Clare was absolutely fab - really listened to what my mum wanted and could 'manage' herself! Gave her lots of hints and tips and recommendations of products with alternatives and other suggestions. She made my mum look fab but still like herself! Mum was so happy! Huge thank you Clare! What a woman! Claire listened to every single thing I said I did and didn't want with my wedding make up and absolutely nailed it. She knew exactly what would suit me and made me feel like a million dollars both at the trial and on the day. I'm an excruciating perfectionist and so was worried that it wouldn't be just as I wanted but Claire is even more of a perfectionist than me and more than happy to adjust anything that you're not 100% delighted with. If you want a fabulous make up artist for any occasion then I'd definitely recommend Claire. She did my make up for my wedding day at the end of April & it was amazing! She made me and all my bridesmaids feel completely at ease, relaxed & everyone looked fantastic! I can't thank her enough! Even at my make up trial Claire wrote down all the products she has used on me so if I wanted to I could go out and buy them for myself! Where do I start?! Clare is a true artist-I don't wear make up and she transformed my face for my wedding last Wednesday. Honestly this lovely lady is a genius . Clare was recommended to me and I'm so pleased she was available. Nothing was too much trouble. Clare even stayed and helped the wedding party get ready. I was a guest at a wedding & with 3 children didn't trust I would have enough time to do my own makeup well. Claire was fantastic . .. I absolutely loved the makeup! Her eye makeup is amazing & she really knows what will suit you. The makeup lasted all day (& was still on the next day when I woke up). I was really happy with the price too. WOW! Clare, thank you so much for such a huge part of making my wedding morning so fun, relaxing and enjoyable. Right from the start you have been nothing but professional and so easy to talk to. You went above and beyond, and that's something that I'll always look back on and remember. It was great to receive a confirmation message a couple of days before. After a very stressful couple of weeks pre-wedding, it was nice to be reassured; including everything we had discussed at the trial. Thank you so much for the excellent make up lesson you did with Emma today. You made her feel really comfortable and did a great job of teaching her all the basics. We loved the way you incorporated the make up and brushes that she already owns, and talked to her about products and techniques. She has learnt so much and will now be much more confident - which means she will be happy to experiment with various looks. I wish there was a rating higher than five stars as Clare deserves it. She was on time (slightly early in fact!), incredibly attentive, a calming influence and took such pride in her work. She did both me and my sisters makeup for my wedding, and everyone commented how nice it was.
