Ben and Brandon took my husband and me out for a full day tour and it was such a blast! They were knowledgeable, helpful, & tried extremely hard to get all of the birds on our list (which were a lot! !) I added 36 new birds to my life-list today and did not want to stop! You could say my ideal Las Vegas trip is different than most. It Is an amazing place outside the hoopla of The Strip.

Thanks to Justin Streit of BirdLasVegas! He took me on a full day guided tour of the area and it was mind blowing. As a guide, he really knows his stuff. I saw 25 or so new life birds, learned a whole plethora of new places and trails and mountains and canyons, and have a new appreciation for a place I already had a great affection for.

If you are ever in Las Vegas and want to see a different side of it, I highly recommend their services. Justin was affordable, and they will pick you up from wherever you are staying.

If you get Justin as your guide and plan ahead, he will have a specific operation laid out to help you see your target species. A true pro. (I am sure their other guides are too). And also a super interesting guy. When he isn’t birding he is scaling insanely high cliffs. Not my cup of tea, but seeing some of the sheer walls he had scaled in the Spring Mountains was mind bottling.

Some of our highlight birds were Lewis’s Woodpecker, Male Vermilion Fly Catcher, Steller’s Jays, Black Throated Sparrows, Woodhouse’s Scrub Jays, Cactus Wren, several different hummingbirds and a Sage Thrasher.
