Rang Clive the day before my bike needed servicing and came out the next morning, now my bike feel brand new and doenst make a single sound when riding, shes been taken to a few shops and brought back worse than they went. Contacted C&L via email and received a call very soon afterwards. Clive ( one of the mechanics ) came out to my house and 20 minutes later resolved my issue ( gears slipping ) for half the price that others had charged and had still failed to solve the problem. Had a horrible noise coming from the bottom bracket on my way into work and was not looking forward to cycling home , Clive came out straight away and fixed it at my place of work. I now have a brand new sealed bottom bracket and all for just £20 , the bike runs like a dream , peddled a lot easier and smoother and today I posted a great time into work. Great service. I rang late pm and arranged for a home visit at 8 am the next day to get my double buggy puncture repaired. There was no way I could get it to a repair shop easily and with two young children we were truly housebound without a working buggy. As a Newbie to cycling I have been experiencing a few teething problems. Although my bike didn’t need repairing, Clive was brilliant and wasn’t patronising and helped me out with something that was really simple.

Clive has repaired my bikes only twice but it was immediately obvious he knows bikes inside & out. Ive used many shops in Notts but ill always call C&L first from now on. The difference is he doesnt just take the bike and promise a call back when it's done. He listens to whats wrong and works away until its resolved.
