We are more than happy with the quality of work carried out by Chris. He kept his appointments for quotes and discussions about the job, his team were always punctual and have an admirable work ethic to get the job done. This involved lifting old tarmac and block paving a large driveway also, relaying a patio area in the back garden. Chris and the lads finished My path and wall today. After a week of Terrible weather Chris and the lads still worked so hard to have it done for us. I genuinely could not fault anything, We are over the moon with Our Path and wall, Makes the driveway look so much bigger. They are a Lovely group of lads very helpful, Extremely clean work and Excellent Price. When the wall was built there was a gap between mine and the next door neighbours garden which would of been open onto the street, Chris Noticed my neighbours had a little boy so blocked the gap up with a small wood fence as he said he would worry the little boy could get out! The little things like that just make you realise they will go above and beyond for you. Chris and his team came around to the house a week before starting to confirm everything was ok to go, they started work on the Bank Holiday (May 2019), saying they would start at 7. 30am and they were there surely enough at 7.30am. There was a good number of workers, we were having the driveway relaid and the back garden redesigned (patio and astroturfed). The whole team were polite and worked hard, even through poor weather cleaning up after themselves and keeping us up to date with the work. When the team lost a day due to poor weather, they worked longer on the Friday to complete the job. Excellent results, a great job done. I thought they were going above and beyond but it appears that's just how they work every day. Polite to customers and neighbours. They don't stop working. Turn up bang on time and get straight at it. Very trustworthy and know exactly what they're doing. No complaints. Secondly, the final result. Exceeded our expectations. Absolutely spot on. Another excellent job from CK Driveways. Chris and the team managed to achieve fantastic results despite the weather being against them and even put up with a million questions/interuptions from me! CK Driveways provided bespoke solutions when required to overcome some of the site specific challenges. The team also reduced my old front wall, built a new pillar,sourced a suitable pillar top, replaced an ugly old drain inspection cover and planted shrubs in the planter area. I would highly recommend CK Driveways. Put simply , they deliver on their promises. Ours was quite a big job front and back but they had the resources , skill and work ethic to turn it around in 1 week, with 6 to 8 men on site every day from 7. 30 am . The proprietor of the business, Chris , was responsive and helpful throughout and made several pre start visits to discuss and perfect the type and design of our new driveway. Chris and his team came to the rescue eighteen months ago and sorted out a botched job of a drive way for me. I was very impressed with the standard of work they completed, their work ethic and what a thoroughly decent group of people they were. The team have now just completed paving the back garden and rebuilt the front door step on a different property. Once again they have undertaken excellent work. CK driveways installed a new driveway and created a patio area in our back garden. After getting a few quotes we decided to go with Chris and his team as they were very competitive, helpful and knowledgeable (visiting us 3 times to do 3 different versions of the quote so we knew our options). When they arrived to start he and his team were friendly, polite, hard working, professional and very quick & efficient. In the first day they cleared our front garden, knocked down and rebuilt our wall and prepared the surface for our block paving whilst at the same time clearing the patio area and erecting a new fence. On day two the driveway was pretty much completed and on day 3 the patio area was done. Each evening they cleaned up after themselves and left the area very clean and tidy.
