City Maid Services is fabulous! They came out to our home and gave a real time estimate of the cleaning needed, and stuck to their estimate! They were on time for the House and carpet cleaning, did a great job and left in the time frame they said it would take. I have used several maid services, CityMaid was the best. The manager was helpful and went out of her way to accommodate my need to have the cleaning done immediately. The cleaning team paid attention to detail, and did an excellent job. I was impressed with their integrity and professionalism. To those who are reading my review, consider my advice! Hire City Maid Service!
I hired them to do a move out clean and they were thorough from beginning to end.
Also, they were early for the cleaning and when I returned, everything was spotless clean. They also helped me take out the trash, which lightened up a lot of my load.

IT is VERY VERY difficult for me to give 5 stars for a cleaning service as I have tried so many and they have specially disappointed. However, I used City Maid Service in June before moving into my apartment so they can clean the dust and dirt off every shelf and clean the beyond disgusting oven and refrigerator that was left behind.They did a PHENOMENAL job!!!! They left behind the little ledge outside my apartment and the broiler in my oven and City Maid Service sent them the next day to come clean it and they did.. and did a phenomenal job.I am now going to be using City Maid service to clean my apartment on a monthly or biweekly basis.Again.. this is hard, but I really think they make a significant difference. I purchased 3 sessions from Groupon and my first session was redeemed today. I was not home for the cleaning, but came home and was able to actually breathe due to all the dust removed! The cleaning was thorough and well done and well appreciated by someone like me who works so much and routinely overlooks housework. If all my sessions work out this well I will be making monthly appointments.The length of time to get an appt is months away but I requested a cancellation date on one of the cell phone numbers. Let me start off by saying that I had low expectations, as I, too, tried calling numerous times before someone got back to me to confirm an appointment. Â After I complained to Groupon, their phone didn't ring more than twice before a real person answered.Turns out I was just anxious as I did receive, 24 hours before my appointment, an email confirmation.Woo hoo! is right! Â Annabelle was at my door 5 minutes before appt time with a big smile. Â She had cleaning supplies, but not vacuum or mop, which makes sense since this service uses the MTA to get around.Perfect, perfect - I hope she can come again - I will request her. Â In only 2 hours, my very small 1 bedroom apt sparkled.Now I have to admit, I keep my apartment very, very neat but I have a problem w/my hands and cannot scrub bathroom or kitchen surfaces. Honestly, I've hired several cleaners, and have generally been unhappy with the results to the point that I have stopped hiring cleaners. Â NYC Maid Service however, blows other services out of the water. Â Today, two extremely professional people (both owners of the company) came to handle a particularly difficult cleaning situation (glass tabletop broke). Â They were not only extremely thorough, but were incredibly helpful in moving furniture and cleaning areas they hadn't even agreed to clean prior to arriving at my apartment. Â On top of all that, their prices are very reasonable, and they were extremely flexible with my schedule. Â They were communicative and really understanding.
