Beautiful route, although we were misdirected around mile 13-14, we still enjoyed the scenery and all of the volunteers that cheered us along the way. We also loved running through the CBU campus, what great support. More...

Excellent job for the first FULL marathon! Thank you to the organizers and of course the VOLUNTEERS!! I appreciate you being out there early and in the rain.
It was a challenging course, but I really enjoyed it! Overall it was well organized, but I felt two spots on the course could be reviewed. 1 - where the marathons and 5kers criss cross that was a bit hairy; 2 - inside citrus heritage park, as you loop in that small parking lot. Luckily I knew the course from running the half, but some runners got confused and cut up through the gazebo and skipped the parking lot. With such a small field of marathoners, sometimes what seems like the obvious direction isn't as clear when we don't have the masses to follow.
Thank you again, great race and great finish line beer garden. :)
Oh and the medals - loved the inaugural and so glad to earn my Run Riverside Challenge medal too!

It was a perfect run/ walk for my birthday. The band played happy birthday for me, the ladies at the end sang happy birthday to me, and the Dj was amazing! !! Dancing after the race was so much fun. More...

Super fun race! I loved how it smelled as we ran through the course! Gorgeous medals, wonderful experience! Hahaa, placing 1st in age division isn't so bad either. ;)

This was my second 1/2 marathon, my first was the Mission Inn Run. This event far surpassed the other. More semiconductor run though the Orange Groves, different terrain and inclines. The support was amazing, restrooms at many points on the run, water, oranges, gels, mini cliff bars throughout the run. Tons of volunteers and police staged everywhere. I would highly recommend and plan on doing it next year. More...

Probably one of the most beautiful half marathons I've done. Running through orange groves, mix of road, cement trail, and dirt trail with some challenging hills to keep you focused. It was a really well put on run with pacers, food, and even a beer at the finish line. Oh and the bling is great quality! Will definitely run it again! More...

2016 is the second year in a row that I have driven down from Santa Clarita just for this event. The course is unique and enjoyable; I love running through the orange groves! The Riverside Road Runners are extremely friendly and welcoming. Beer, chili and super fresh oranges are available at the finish line. The medals are absolutely adorable and a gem in any collection. I now plan on making this one of my annual "must run" half marathons. More...

You were amazing!! I will, definitely, be back next year for the half.. More...

My first half marathon couldn't have not been a better experience! Special shout out, didn't get her name, to the pace setter for the 2 hour finishing goal. She was fantastic! She was very talkative and checked on runners near her frequently which is very difficult while holding that sign for 2 hours :-). To add she even greeted me at the finish line with a high five More...

Mad props to this awesome race! It was the most scenic race in SoCal and incredibly well organized for such a small event. It's the little details that count and make it a success. The volunteers were so cheery and friendly. I almost didn't sign up because the price was quite steep for a late sign-up. So glad I did as it was definitely worth it. More...
