What an unexpected -- and necessary! -- treasure in the Bible belt. The proprietor, Candace Faith Fruge, is so knowledgeable (and so well educated and credentialed, I should add), and she works hard to establish just the right vibe. I know it can be daunting to go into a holistic life center, because who knows what that even IS until we've tried, but the place is welcoming, and it's OK if you require a bit of a learning curve for any of the wonderfully nurturing, intriguing things that happen there -- and there's a LOT that happens there. I had such a wonderful experience today under Christine's instruction. I've done very little kundalini yoga but now have a greater interest in incorporating it into my practice. Circle on the square has a great energy and a lovely atmosphere that is judgement free and welcoming. So many other studios in town seem to foster an environment where there is a "right" way and a "wrong" way of doing things, and it's clear that is not the case with Circle on the Square. I'm happy to have found a studio to consistently visit for the rest of my time in Springfield and look forward to many spiritually enlightening experiences here. More...
