The food is great Italian restaurant small but great to take out. Try it you will like the food and service. To the owner I'm giving you a 5 star which is the best. The food was FANTASTIC!Greek Lamb and Chicken Shishkebob skewers, Spanakopita, Pita, Hummas, Tzadziki and an authentic Greek Salad with fresh cucumbers, tomatoes and red onions. Everything was cooked to perfection. Ordered our food online, food was ready when promised for pickup, generous potions and tasted excellent. A Worcester staple I would definitely recommend.
Always fresh and tasty. Great italian fare. From appetizers, pizza, paninis and grinders, entrees, and salads. The varying choices of each item on menu are vast. You can delete or add items on each individual item. Service is very fast, I order online and usually ready within 15 minutes or so. You can dine in with a limited amount of tables. They also offer a small selection of desserts but you would have to take home for later as portions are large. Lunch time is busy be warned! More...

It may be a small dinner but the foods they serve is worth it.
Love their lasagna salads and pizza
I recently had Caio Bella cater a party that I had for 14 people. It was easy to go in on a Saturday afternoon and choose the menu and discuss the details with staff. The delivery was on time, the delivery person was pleasant and accommodating. The food was delicious! My guests raved about it! I never had catering before (usually I would stress myself out cooking) but I would certainly have it again. It was well worth it! I had the $19.95 per person deal and chose Lasagna, and Pasta Lucia. It also came with salad, bread and a tray of cookies. Thank you Caio Bella! More...

Found this place by chance. Food was delicious! Good atmosphere but not a lot of seating. But soooo worth it.
Great takeout and delivery and a small but quaint dining area that reminds me of the north-end in Boston
Love the salads....sandwiches....and pizza. Getting takeout today!
I ate here a few years ago, it was the best lasagna I didn't have to make myself.
They catered my daughter's bridal shower. They were prompt, set up professionally. The guests really liked the food. I'm going to get take out now.
I've been eating Ciao Bella for as long as I can remember. Their pastas are my favorite. I've never had something I didn't like! I'd highly recommend the meatballs they're so delicious. Ingredients are always fresh and you can tell the food is made with love. Never change, Ciao Bella!! More...

Last minute lunch with my wife. Went here because it was close, never been. Wow, what a gem. Looks like a take out with a fair amount of tables to sit. The food was FAR from take out. As we sat we were greeted by a pleasant server who gave us bread and hot marinara. I ordered a chicken parmigiana grinder. No frozen deep fried chicken patties on a sub roll. Breaded chicken pan fried with delicious red sauce, loaded cheese on a nice fresh Italian roll. My wife had a Mediterranean salad with a mint dressing so good, she bought 2 pints. It was huge. Will def come back More...

Best food in forever. Reminds me of the old Jeff House back in the day. Hot fresh great food.
Always great, best Italian grinder in Woostah, I've tried them all.
All meals we have ever eaten at Ciao Bella have been awesome! Last night we had their pizza for first time and it was delicious. Great food.
This is my favorite place in the neighborhood to get take out from. They do have some seating but I've never eaten inside. Their pizza is very good. The crust is thin and crispy on the bottom and holds up well to the toppings which are of excellent quality. Their Italian grinder is also delicious and so are their meatballs. Overall, Ciao Bella has consistently great food and wonderful service. The girls behind the counter are always friendly and delivery always arrives hot and before the expected time. More...
My dad and I order from Ciao Bella maybe 3 times a week. They have different specials every day for lunch and dinner so if you haven't signed up for their email list, you should. Delicious food highly recommend, everything I've ever ordered was exceptional.
Best pizza in Worcester. Period. Great sauce, perfect mixture of cheeses, and the crust is amazing. In a city full of stale Greek pizzerias Ciao Bella stands out with their Italian-ish recipes and fresh ingredients.
Pasta dishes are good here. Would recommend take out though. Not good seating for more than a party of 2. Can be a bit pricey but they have large portions. Dessert is yummy too!
Our family has used ciao Bella for every major event and they never disappoint! Absolutely phenomenal food for large parties, catered my wedding, both children's Christenings, all of our birthday parties, and last night my parent's 40th wedding anniversary. Good food, and normally great service. Large portions sizes, that sometimes are better the next day reheated. Only minus is the small parking lot and the size of the location.
Ordered delivery..best muscles we have had. Pasta sauce and humus too! All came hot and perfectly cooked! Wow.
Not bad, some items are worth to try. Sometimes staff ignoring you. But it is OK.
I have gotten good here multiple times and it has been amazing each and every time. Pasta fresh, meat perfectly cooked, seafood fresh. I had a craving for mussels and they came to the rescue. Sat here for a late lunch today with my honey and we loved it!! The food was WONDERFUL and the staff was so polite. It was a little busy but the staff was so graceful in their way of keeping up with everything. The princes are fantastic and it's a just a very cute family run place. The only flaw was the dessert. The cannoli cake tasted old and kind of flaccid, and it really didn't taste like cannoli. But other than that, Bella Bella. More...

Just returned from a very nice meal at Ciao Bella. We arrived there not knowing what to expect. It is a small place with a big takeout business and just a few tables. The food - two orders of spaghetti and meatballs, one pasta primavera and one half lemon chicken - were all excellent. The prices were very reasonable. The staff was very friendly and from the looks of the food going to the other tables and the people coming in for take-out, everything must be very good. I will most certainly return. Wanted to add chicken to their pesto pizza and add pepperoni to their roasted veggie pizza but it said no modifications to the specialty pizzas and create your own instead. So I attempted to create my own over the phone, she was very helpful stating that I could add they just wouldn't do half and half on specialties. Most importantly, the pizza was amazing!!! More...

Great neighborhood Italian and pizza. Whether you eat in (seating limited) in their simple dining area, take-out or delivery the food is fantastic. Just had Ciao Bella for the first time today, even though everyone at my work gets it all the time and I have been meaning to try it for years now. I had an Italian grinder which was very good. It was huge and I only ate half, and am saving half for dinner. Could have had more Italian dressing on it, but other than that it was delicious. I will definitely try their salads which look good when co-workers get them and eventually will try their pizza too. They were packed at lunch but my sub was ready quickly. They seem very efficient. My personal favorite for Italian take out in Worcester. I have never once had a bad meal. From the pizzas and pasta dishes to the roll ups and daily specials; the food is great! I've gone to Ciao Bella quite a few times with friends and been satisfied with them each time. When planning my wedding, I decided to inquire about catering and was very satisfied with what they offered and the costs. Diane, the woman in charge of catering, was very attentive and met several times with my then fiance and myself. She gave us very helpful advice on how we could do things and made sure we were well-informed.When we came in to taste many of the food options we were interested in, she talked to us about each one (after giving us time alone to discuss them by ourselves). When we told her the chicken marsala was good but we didn't want two chicken dishes (we had already picked another chicken dish) she had the staff make us the same dish with beef right there on the spot so that we could taste it. They were flexible with planning, and allowed us to have individual vegan and gluten-free dishes for our vegan and gluten-free friends without altering any of the prices. They even brought pizza for the kids table! They came on time for our reception and set up professionally. I should note our reception was in a far-off, middle-of-nowhere park with no electricity. They were quite flexible in setting up. The staff was extremely helpful and went above and beyond their duties, helping us clean up areas that had nothing to do with the food. After the ceremony we got countless compliments on the food. All of our guests were blown away. In summary, Ciao Bella provides excellent food, whether you go there with friends or use their catering services. Their catering menu is diverse and the costs are reasonably priced. Their catering staff is attentive, proactive, and willing to go the extra mile under all circumstances.I'd recommend Ciao Bella to anyone planning a wedding or needing catering of any form. More...

Worcesters diamond in the rough, I don't know how this place isn't more celebrated by local colleges and residents. Their italian food is easily greater than local competitors cough VIA cough and it is at a reasonable price as well. Dishes will run heavy if you throw a lot of things in but base price is like if you went to Olive Garden. People have to realize this is not a sit down restaurant though but thats fine because the food is GREAT. Pastas are cooked well and the sauce is very exceptional. Plus they throw in garlic bread and what not too. More...
Excellent place. Very affordable and big portion. Must try their Shrimp Scampi. The lemon flavor sauce is so delicious.
This is Worcester's hidden gem. Its not fancy. No frills, no gimmicks or gags. Just quality food. This is an excellent lunch spot any day of the week. A mom and pop place that has an almost at home feel. I'm not a huge fan of eating here, especially in the winter time, because it is a small place and everytime the door opens there's a nice gust of cold air. Getting here confuses out of towners. haha@ them. That said, I really don't have anything to complain about here. My friends and family have been eating here for years and years and have never complained about any of the food. You really can't pick something bad on the menu.Start with one of their subs or wraps. You will instantly be astonished at the portion sizes (because that sammy can be your lunch AND dinner) I particularly like the lemon chicken wrap. Very fresh and with a hommade taste you cannot fake or cover up with sauces. Speaking of sauces, when you order their delicious fresh pasta dishes, none of those sauces come from a can or jar. This is what I find to be the best trait about a place that would be easily mistaken for a pizza joint. Also some of the best tiramisu I've EVER had. And I don't joke around when it comes to Tiramisu. Prices are reasonable if not low for some items... most of the huge sandwiches are around 7 bucks! The staff here is also very friendly and the place is very clean. I hope Ciao Bella never closes, there would be some very angry patrons in Worcester!!This is a good meeting spot for a first date or something like that because the atmosphere is really relaxed and inviting.Ciao Bella ! Multo Bene! More...
This small joint is turning out some really good food. It is hard core Italian (as are almost all the cooking and waiting staff), with a nod given to other ethnicities in their specials. You basically have three sides to the menu: 1. Great deal cheap but filling Italian food like subs and simple pasta, 2. Some of the best pizza in Worcester, and 3. Higher-end gourmet Italian that is priced to match. Priced to match meaning while everything else on the menu is about $10 or less per person, their daily specials hit $20+. If you desire more gourmet and fresher fare, it is worth it. If you are hungry and near this place, you deserve to check it out. Note that they only have a few tables so it may be hard to get seating during normal eat times.Favs include: Ravioli, any of their Pizza, and any daily specials if I have the money. More...
Small place on a busy 1-way street but worth the wait for a table. Start with complimentary warm bread and sauce, and bust out your own booze because this place is BYOB baby! Excellent food and service with minimum "ouch" to the wallet. More...
Great place to pick up Italian specialties. I love their Porcino Pizza, Veal Parmesan, and Kelly's beef and pastrami. I didn't think that their meat lasagna was that great.Parking and getting your food can be a bit tricky, but easier that Shrewsbury Street. More...
Had a great lunch! Had to wait for a table for a while, but then had huge portions. We had a pizza, panini and salad. Everything was delicious! Only wish they had a larger seating area! More...
Hands down the best Italian food in Worcester.I'm from NY and although I'm not Italian, I was spoiled by all of my friends' Grandmothers so I get angry when I'm served overcooked pasta and flavorless sauce at "italian restaurants." This is not a fancy Italian restaurant it's like eating Grandma's kitchen. There are a handful of tables, more food than you can imagine and a constant activity. If that's not your preferred atmosphere than please order your food for pick up and leave the tables for the rest of us. (I suggest picking some up and going on a picnic date to Green Hill Park)The food: I've had many items on the menu and haven't found anything I wouldn't love to eat again. I usually go for the specials since you don't know if it's going to be a option next time. But I have 2 standbys, the Ciao Bella Pasta (the dish that uncovered my LOVE of olives) and the pasta and meatballs. I survived many finals weeks on just an order of each of those, it's amazing how a good meatball can make you believe everything is going to be ok. The sauce has similar comforting powers, it's just so good!Their prices are reasonable but their portions are not. Not once have I ever come remotely close to finishing one of their servings. Frequently I get 3 meals out of one of their dishes. The only downside of this is if you get an appetizer or you've got your eye on a dessert, you must plan ahead and resist the urge to stray from said plan.I no longer live in Worcester but I still go every chance I get. Came home for the Holidys and just had to have some Ciao Bella. We ordered take out for my whole family. Their online ordering system is amazing. Everything was hot, perfectly delish and exactly how I remembered it from years ago. My girls loved the pizza with artichokes and black olives, the bruschetta was amazing. Best part was when my Dad; who is from Buffalo, NY said that the Buffalo Chicken Grinder was the "best he had ever had". Can't wait to come home and order again. More...
I love Ciao Bella's food. Hearty italian, tiny little restaurant even though it was recently renovated. Not much for atmosphere, but the price of the entrees is very reasonable (it is relfected in the decor of the restuarant)
Good food, good prices, confusing location.I've been getting ciao bello delivery/ catering for years and went in for the first time ever last night. The waitress was nice but there was a guy behind the counter staring at me to see if I liked my food the whole time, kinda creepy. The inside is nothing to see and will prob just continue with delivery... expecially because I got momentarily lost. If you go through shaws parking lot take a left and you can see it on your left. Really easy to get to actually.I ordered spicy sausage ravioli, which came with 7 raviolis. It just seemed like not enough food in comparison to my boyfriends plate stacked high with angel hair. It came with a lot of sauce and not a lot of meat. But overall the food was good, definatly better than most Italian food in Worcester.I reccomend the honey mustard chicken/ sausage pizza if you like to step away from red sauce pizzas... definatly my favorite thin gon the menu I' ve had.BYOB More...
I come here for lunch occasionally, due to work being so close by. I have always dined in and it gets quite busy during lunch time with the take out orders and table service. The place is small but always full. I've never really had to wait for a table for long.Everything I've had here was always great! The portions are huge! the ingredients fresh! The prices are pretty reasonable as well, noting how much food we get. I've had pasta, pizza, hot sub, salad, and apps here before. All have been fabulous! Once I ordered a small pizza that was intended for 2 people but I swear could feed up to 4! It was huge compared to other smalls at other pizza joints and the toppings were loaded on! I always have extra food to bring home because of their generous portions! I love Ciao Bella and would recommend it to anyone. More...
For the price the portions are large.Everything looked delicious, including the desserts. The ciao Bella was was watery was very flavorful. Reheated next day was perfect amount of sauce. The chicken and broccoli pasta was also on the watery side but good. Again tasted great next day.Service is not always prompt but always friendly. On a Friday night we waited over 40 minutes for our meal. All the take out people came and left well before us even though their orders were placed after ours. More...
The food is very amazing, I order there all the time. But I will never sit in the restaurant again. There is a waitress that is horrible and very rude. Luckily, the food is too good to be ruined by a bad waitress. My favorite thing is the white clams with white wine sauce, the bruschetta, and the panini with pesto and prosciutto. More...
Consistency is the top quality of this place. The salads are always fresh, the pizza is good and the sandwiches are also good. They serve a spicy chicken pizza which is my favorite.I often stop here to grab a salad to eat with whatever dinner we are having and they are always good. The dressing that comes with them is very good.I would not be surprised to see this place expand as it's current location is a bit small.Nevertheless,it does not affect their great service! More...
very cozy, very tiny. walk in and it looks like they deliver pizza's all day and aren't ready for a dining. Probably about 8 small tables. The food is great however. I had a roast beef sandwich with sauerkraut and red onions. Best I've ever had. My friends had a pizza which they said was amazing and another had pasta. All in all the food was more than expected and great quality. If your going out for a Friday lunch this is the place to go. With such limited seating you may want it to go during peak hours. More...
I'm a fan, and I'm from Chicago. Crust was both crisp and chewy; the toppings varied and interesting. Two cuts above an ordinary pizza. They deliver.
I had gotten the tiramisu from Ciao Bella before, but never ate there. It was really good, so when I had a chance to try their food, I jumped at it.Really small place inside. Nothing fancy or special, just very simple. That wasn't a problem at all.We sat in the corner and the waitress brought us warm bread and marinara sauce right away. It was very good- obviously fresh and homemade. Mmm.I got the tomato, mozzarella, and prosciutto panini. There was actually a good amount of prosciutto (which is surprising- most places only put a tiny bit!) and the mozzarella was incredible. It also had a pesto on it which was delicious. Very simple, but the flavors together were perfect. The bread was nice and crispy and grilled just right. My friend got the calzone and it was huge. My only complaint was that they didn't have any tiramisu that day!Overall, this place is great, and I would definitely recommend it. Don't be expecting anything fancy or romantic, just really good food! More...
Fantastic food, huge portions, excellent prices, outstanding waitstaff!!! I love the bread and marinara sauce you get served when you sit down. My sisters and I go there frequently. A trip into Worcester usually means a stop here for supper! Seating is limited, but turns over quickly. More...
Food: yes. Atmosphere: no. I fist visited Ciao Bella simply because I had been turned away for dinner due to lack of reservations at one of my favorite Worcester spots. Driving home in defeat, I came across this place, and was ordered by my counterpart to stop in.First thing you notice is that this place is small. Despite the parking lot being busier then an airport, there are about a dozen tables, as well as a kitchen, stuffed into a building the size of a college dorm. They offer delivery, as well as takeout, but we opted to eat in. No real decor in the place aside from a poster or two. Wouldn't wear anything you value too highly as you're likely coming out smelling like you worked in the kitchen.Waitress was extremely kind and quick, furnishing the table with some great bread and dip as appetizers. Ordered the ravioli in red sauce, which came in a timely manor. Sauce was rather tasty, but the ravioli lacked a bit of flavor. Prices were very reasonable, portions about average though. Not someplace I'd bring a date or go for a fancy night out, but if you're in the mood for some good food, or need a place for takeout, I would definitely stop here. Definitely a take out focused place, and my god is it good. Like everything on the menu and its reasonably priced.
Good pizza and pasta dishes. Best for take out though as the seating is limited and not very welcoming due to the space. Staff is great.
Just discovered this hidden gem. Along with winning incredible awards, getting a Great-8 review from the Phantom Gourmet, this was my first trip here, and the rumors are true. Huge portions and delicious. The brick oven pizza is fantastic and their small pizzas are 44% larger than their competition! The chicken parm is heavenly. The homemade sauce is a perfect blend of sour, sweet, salty with a fresh tomato flavor. The homemade bread comes complimentary with sauce. This is my new favorite italian restaurant. GREAT prices, Great potions, and terrific service. My one regret is that I didn't have room for desserts. They look great too! More...
This place is top notch!!! I was taking a class in Worcester three Wednesdays in a row and the first class I tried Ciao Bella and had the Italian Sub. it was huge...I meah HUGE! and DELICIOUS!!!The second week I went back and had a spicy italian sausage dish which was as good and by the way the price is right...very affordable...mostly I think because the place is no frills. good food fast...sit down, they take your order, you eat, and you're gone...The third week I had a calzone which was also huge and delicious and again, for two people we spent $15 for lunch and we were stuffed...I wish the class was another week so I could go back! This place has it all- except the atmosphere. Seriously.. great food, good prices and they deliver. The little sitting area could be much nicer. Did I mention BYOB? Their guilt-free buffalo wings are amazing. It's not fried but tastes as if they were. Portions are huge so an appetizer usually does it for me. More...
We had our wedding catered by Ciao Bella and Diane was super flexible and accommodating. We received tons of compliments from the guests about the food and wonderful service.
I have been to Ciao Bella off an on over some 10 years now. My boss loves going there and would take me along when he felt like treating me for a job well done...at least I think it was a job well done. The pizzas there are outstanding. The dishes..pastas, sauces and sandwiches are very good...every one of them! I took my mom there for a lunch and she loved the soup and salad. Great imaginative daily specials. I would have given it 5 stars but the seating is very tight and not enough for such good food. More...
