The entire staff was very friendly and profressional. The restaurant was clean and the music was at just the right level to hear it but not have to shout over it. I can't say this enough: the food is delicious! It didn't seem like it was watered down for the American audience. Everything has so much flavor. Everything was cooked just right. I've now eaten at Chutneys twice. Once for dinner and once for the Sunday buffet. Both times were excellent food. The restaurant is cozy and the staff is very hospitable. The food was excellent.

Been there a couple of times and the food is excellent, lots of good spices and flavors. The waitstaff is attentive and the owner even came out and met us. I will be coming back.

I have been twice and have enjoyed the experience. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean. It also has a small market connected if you wanted to buy any spices/rice to bring home. We choose to do the lunch buffet since we arrived when it opened and everything was being put out. The dal, naan, tandoori chicken, saag, and chana masala were amazing. Also enjoyed the curry goat. Everything was good and I would recommend this place for Vancouver. Its standard fare and doesn't have anything exotic in the buffet. Great food and attentive service. Presentation very carefully done. Vegetarian options were wonderful. As most Indian spicing it has been adjusted to American preferences, but the will make authentic spicing! 100% recommend.

I am an Indian food fanatic. I give this place 5 stars because if you're in Vancouver it is by far the best Indian food you can find on this side of the river. The curries are thick and flavorful and the rest of the menu is above average quality. It's clean and quiet. I recommend the chicken makahni, malai kofta, or navratan korma. This is our favorite place for lamb or chicken korma. The chicken curry is good too, but haven't tried anything else. The service is usually great, the last time we were there it wasn't. ..definitely not bad but they've done better. There is a weekday lunch buffet I keep meaning to go that sounds pretty good, though I haven't tried it. There is also a small store attached where you can buy some items that I personally have had a hard time finding in grocery stores. Lovely place for lunch or dinner, the owner and the staff want each table to have a great dining experience.
