Christy was truly the perfect match for us and our wedding! She is not only exceptionally kind and patient, but she also found a way to put us (and our families and friends) at ease. With Christy taking our pictures, it didn’t even really feel as if a photographer was there most of the time. She let us be us which I think shines through in so many of our engagement and wedding pictures. When it came time for more posed shots like the family formals, she kept everyone organized but still let us have fun with it. She was able to capture so much joy and emotion on our wedding day, and I am in love with every single picture she took. She is masterful at capturing little moments and laughter. I can truly say she was my favorite wedding vendor, and has always felt more like a friend instead of someone I booked for my wedding. Both my sister in law and best friend said that they hope she’s still doing pictures when they get married because they loved Christy’s personality and her work so much. Christy was so sweet and easy to get along with. Great at keeping in schedule but also able to be flexible and go with the flow. Also not afraid to (politely) ask guests to move if they are in the way of a shot which I appreciate because I am uncomfortable with even the smallest amount of confrontation. Christy was able to create some truly stunning pictures using her keen eye and unique way of seeing things. She doesn't just capture a photo. ..she captures a feeling! She is personable, creative and has a sense about individuals which help her "just know" which shots will work. She produced a variety of both horizontal and vertical shots which I never really considered until I was putting the photos in a book and realized it was a nice variety to work with! More...

Christy makes everything seem effortless. It's so easy to forget that you're even being photographed! While doing family photos she is kind yet assertive. Not being rude to anyone but keeping a total handle on the situation and all the people resulting in a smooth process and wonderful photos. My whole family loved her and thought she did such an amazing job. The end result photos are exactly what I wanted. We hired Christy last minute, as we had two weeks to put a wedding together. She was very flexible and she made us feel very comfortable. It was like working with a close friend! Her energy helped us make the day even more special. Time flew by and we were extremely happy with everything! My husband and I ended up having a second ceremony months later with a different photographer (required by the venue) and we would have much rather hired Christy again.
