I am writing this review, after finally signing a contract to sell my house in Myrtle Beach.  The home-sale adventure began in October 2018. .  I listed my home and took for granted that my "realtor" would try to position my home in the best light IE: Good photos.  I assumed she would use good photos because most people start the buying process online nowadays right?  The value of good photographs CANNOT be disputed.  I'll never forget the initial feeling of excitement I felt as I clicked on the link to load my new listing, after the Realtor posted it and sent me the link... I couldn't wait to see my ad!  Then that feeling of excitement was replaced by complete shock.... then horror as I thumbed through each photo she posted... They looked like crime scene photos!  I needed a Real Estate photographer ASAP.  It turns out - I had mistakenly placed my trust in the "realtor" (never mind the $21,000 commission she stood to make on my house...) she informed me she had no intention of hiring a photographer to take proper photos of my home.    She went around and literally snapped cell phone photos to post my house on the internet - they looked TERRIBLE.  I sat and thought about all of the money I spent getting the house ready... cleaning fees, painting, on and on.... the photos are one of the most important parts of selling a home... make no mistake about it.  I was immediately in a panic - I knew that I had to get better photos up ASAP so I turned to Yelp.  I found Chris on Yelp and called him, half in a panic.  I explained the situation and I begged him to fit me into his schedule.  Let me just say - as a seller who was trying to manage this process remotely - from several states away - blindly placing trust in strangers is difficult but necessary.  Chris was an absolute savior!  He came the same day - and took MUCH MUCH better pictures of my home.  He let me know about several issues that my "Realtor" had not taken care of, in addition to letting me know that the Realtor was just tossing my key under the doormat and not even bothering to meet people.  He also warned me of some potential issues with the carpet cleaners who were there at the same time he was there to take the photos.  I felt like, not only did he have my best intentions at heart, he is genuinely a good person (and he saw that I was being taken advantage of) and he spoke up.  The end result - the photos that Chris took - were AMAZING and the price was VERY fair.  My house sold at full price... and I have no doubt that Chris' photos were part of the reason why.  I would not hesitate to recommend Chris to anyone needed any type of professional photography work in South Carolina.  You get what you pay for - and he did a great job, he's an honest person and tries to please his clients.  He also helped me get the intel I needed and potentially saved me thousands of dollars.  The only regret I have is that I did not meet him sooner, when we still lived in the area.  I would have loved to have professional family photos done by him, now that I've seen his work.  Good photographers are truly hard to find.  Thank you Chris! Chris did a family shoot for us at the beach and I couldn't be happier with how it all turned out. The session was easy, efficient, and fun. Chris has a way with kids and adults, making the grumpiest of us smile and managing 5 year old twin boys (not the easiest task). He had some great ideas for poses and got the whole group and individual families. The finished gallery arrived quickly and was easy to download. My jaw hit the floor when I scrolled through them. There are so many GORGEOUS shots that I am going give to my parents for their 40th wedding anniversary. These are beautiful photos we will treasure for years. Our daughter from Denver and our son and family from Maryland were home for an early Christmas, so we wanted to have some family pictures taken. We aren't that family that has spent our life in front of a photographer's lens. We snap pics like there will be no tomorrow; but have never gotten up the courage to schedule a beach photo shoot. There was always something uncomfortable and awkward about the whole idea . . . Fake smiling, orchestrated posing in the midst of God's most beautiful canvas . . . Under the direct scrutiny of a perfect stranger It just wasn't on my bucket list. Well, color me wrong! The moment we laid eyes on Chris it was as if we had just reconnected with an old friend. Chris was "the bee's knees". Our smiles and laughter were genuine as he made us laugh, smile, and enjoy every minute of the time we shared. Chris was the absolute BEST photographer we have ever hired. We are from out of state and came to South Carolina to get married on the beach. From the very start, we put our faith in Chris's abilities and talent, and glad we did so. We had asked him for recommendations on location and time, considering we were unfamiliar with the area. He was very helpful, and we met him at the wonderful Huntington Beach state park (thanks to his knowledge of the area). From every phone conversation, to email, to meeting him in person, he was friendly and outgoing. It is clear that he is knowledgeable in his profession and takes so much pride in his work. We have a one year old little girl who was VERY fussy and irritable the day of the wedding. Being her mother, it was difficult for me to even console her with how tired she was; however, Chris was able to get her to calm down and focus on him for quite a few photos. Chris works very quickly, we had been at the beach for maybe an hour and a half, yet we got MANY fabulous pictures that we will cherish forever. He edited them quickly, as we got the photos within just a day or so of shooting them! I highly recommend this guy and wish he lived near us, as I would hire him for any photo shoot needed! Needless to say, his work is worth your money! For the work he does, I would've expected to pay AT LEAST double what he charged us. For the short time we had with him, he was very personable and makes the experience even more exciting. He is a phenomenal photographer - can't say enough good things about him! More...

Christopher John did a family session for my family. He was so professional when I contacted him and didn't hesitate to answer every question I had. He took us to pawleys island and was so friendly and very professional. He utilized so many backgrounds for our family pictures. He did awesome making my 10 month old niece smile and was very creative with many combinations. We finished our session around 8:30pm and all of our pictures were edited and uploaded by midnight that night!
