Daryl DJ'd our wedding at Walnut Grove and we couldn't have been happier. EEE's online event planner simplified the process for picking songs for each part of the wedding. Daryl took what we gave him and created a party atmosphere where even my dad took his shoes off and started dancing. We had DJ Josh at our wedding earlier in November.  He was amazing!  Not only was he really organized, on time, and super down-to-earth, he was so personable when he made announcements during the reception.  He even got up and taught our guests a dance, and kept in close contact with our planner to make sure everything was occurring "according to schedule".  Thanks so much, Josh!  You made our wedding so much fun!  He also met with us about 2 weeks before the wedding to make sure all the songs we had selected online were correct.  He was very flexible with music, and even with our more obscure music choices that weren't on the online database (which has tons of music, by the way!)  He brought lights to set up at the dancefloor which was really fun and created a great ambiance.  Thanks EEE for your hard work making our wedding a success! Loved Chris with Elegant Event Entertainment! We chose EEE to DJ at our wedding, and they were easy to work with, quick to respond, had a great online portal for us to chose songs, and sat down with me before the wedding to go over any last minute details!  We had a string quartet for the ceremony and cocktail hour, but EEE provided mics so we could make sure everyone could hear it. Then when it was their turn to DJ at dinner, they played our favorite songs from rom-coms like Sleepless in Seattle, My Best Friend's Wedding, While You Were Sleeping, and then played a mix of old and new dance music for the reception.  Everyone had a great time on the dance floor, and they didn't play any of my "Do not play" songs (like the Cha Cha Slide).  Super happy with them!  Would definitely recommend. Chris was amazing!!! We met with him via Skype a few times in the planning process which made it so easy for us since we do not live in the area. We started to make our "do not play" list and he said "Don't worry I wouldn't play those songs anyways". He helped me coordinate a big Star Wars surprise for my groom and provided excellent equipment for my brother and cousin to use as they played acoustic guitar for our ceremony. Our guests continue to compliment our music choice but we really can't take much credit. We told Chris our general music likes and dislikes and described the vibe we wanted for cocktail hour, dinner, and reception and he totally nailed it! He played every song we requested and kept the crowd very involved. We danced the night away and the dance floor was never empty! The best part was when he came over and gave us big hugs of congratulations after the ceremony. Daryl from EEE was our DJ at our daughter's wedding this past weekend at Walnut Grove. Daryl did a fantastic job DJ-ing. ..the dance floor was never empty, in fact it was always packed! Working with the company was great, loved that we were able to use our credit card (mileage points!!). Daryl went above and beyond by meeting every request and helping out with microphones and more. Daryl also owes a photo booth that we rented that worked out great and was so much fun! In my opinion booking with Elegant Event Entertainment is the only way to go...you won't be disappointed! Elegant Event Entertainment is the real deal! From when we first met with Chris all the way through planning and executing our wedding, they are professionals who know exactly what they're doing. We had the pleasure of working with Ray who was new to EEE, but treated us well from the beginning. He was always available to talk and encouraged us throughout the planning process. He feels like family now and we are grateful to have someone who seemed like they actually cared about us. It's clear why this company has only 5-star reviews. Daryl was our DJ for our wedding last weekend on 10/3 and he was phenomenal. My fiance and I were both very impressed. We initially had a phone conversation with Daryl and then from instantly liking him he offered to drive up to Santa Barbara (even though he is in Thousand Oaks) to meet with us face to face. We then signed the contract and kept in touch regarding song lists, timeline, wedding party, etc. He then offered to come to the wedding venue (Polo Fields) to take a walk around so he could make sure he knew where everything was going. He showed up early the day of our wedding and was on point all day long. My point here is that he was very responsible, professional and just awesome.Everybody enjoyed the music all night long. We gave him our "do play" and " do not play" list (which he followed) but also trusted him to feel the crowd and play good dance music. He nailed it! My fiance and I have different taste in music but he somehow managed to play the best of both worlds. I would recommend him to anyone. More...

Chris at EEE was amazing to work with. Very even-keeled and savvy about what will keep people happy and on the dance floor. He was easy to work with, gave great suggestions, and wasn't the cheesy DJ my family so dreaded AT ALL! Everyone at the party, from 10 year olds to 86 year olds, were on the dance floor (seriously) and commented on what a great job he did. Let me first just start off this review with saying that our search for DJ's was drama filled until Chris came to our rescue. He was so amazing and now that the wedding is over, I am so glad we went through the drama just because that meant we lucked out and got Chris as a DJ. He was so easy to work with and made the whole night go very smoothly. Their website to choose music and give him an idea of what we are looking for was very easy to use. And if we had a question or a concern he replied to our emails pretty much within a minute of it being sent out. He was great as an MC as well and made the wedding day/night go without a hitch and if there were any bumps in the road I had no clue because he was that good on making everything just work. He respected our choice in music and was there to help make decisions when needed. He knows how to get the party started and get all of your guests on the dance floor. DJ O'Ryan of Elegant Event Entertainment played at our wedding just this past Friday at Eden Gardens. He was so great and played everything we requested! We had a special set list of songs that were important to my husband and he took the time to research them all. He mixed both of our cultures and everyone had a blast. He was upbeat and got the crown into it..Very prompt and professional-i would highly recommend him to do any event! I planned my own wedding and so glad I hired Elegant Event Entertainment.  DJ Chris was extremely professional right from the get go.  They have a website so you can personalize your event, it was so easy to use.  He made sure to play all of our "requests" at key moments.  My husband planned a crazy unique fun grand entrance and DJ Chris was extremely supportive and made sure that it was a HUGE success!  The music was perfect for our outdoor backyard party.  We were having such a good time we never wanted the jams to end...so we paid a bit more for a bonus hour.  DJ Chris and his assistant were great!  BTW the dance floor was full all night, amazing job!  5 STARS! We used Elegant Entertainment for our wedding the past weekend and were more than pleased. Chris was our DJ. From the start I liked Chris and his demeanor. It was a no haggle deal. We didn't have time to meet in person so we Skyped all meetings. He has a very professional website that has all your wedding details needed right there, including a huge selection of songs that you just plug into your playlist. Once we had our final meeting the details were discussed and everything was dialed in wedding day, it was a seamless transition. This review is long overdue.  Chris, one of the owners, was our DJ a few years back and we can't say enough good things about him.  This was the last vendor we booked, and were experiencing a bit of wedding fatigue.  Chris was the first DJ we interviewed and knew immediately there was no reason to keep our other appointments.  He was sharp-looking and professional without even a hint of the cheesy wedding DJ vibe.  Chris was very thorough with his questions and his selections were spot-on.  The crowd at Maravilla Gardens was rocking that night.  From grandma on down to the bridal party, no one left early. We heard from our guests that we had the best DJ for our wedding! We were repeat customers- my sis had one of the owners (Chris) from EEE as her DJ 2 years ago so I knew right away I wanted, no needed, Chris for ours! He was a great MC, kept the party going and played music for everyone so that the dance floor was going all night long. He was so responsive (we live up in SF but the wedding was down in LA)  and the online planner was great so that we could put the details in and then talk through them at our final meeting. Reasonably priced and we couldn't be happier with the service!  He was so nice, spliced together music how we wanted for the bride's walk and found music that we liked but didn't want the words.  I would highly recommend them if you want to have professional, fun DJs who know what they are doing!! Hiring DJ Jason Jones was the best decision I made for my sister's wedding (the happy couple live in Hawaii and the wedding was in Los Angeles, so I had to make the important decisions). He's professional, honest and entertaining. The wedding went by smoothly as he MC'd the night away. He knows what he's doing, he knows what you need and he works with you so that you could celebrate one of the most memorable days of your life, stress-free. We also had a live band playing at the wedding, Jason took it upon himself to schedule when they would play and when he would start DJing, it was perfect. He gave me a 30 minute warning for my Maid of Honor speech (perfect prep time) and would communicate with the catering team to ensure everyone had champagne glasses before introducing us for our speeches. Our wedding was May 15, 2011. We had the AWESOME Jason Jones as our DJ/MC. Jason was referred to us by a co-worker and from our first meeting we knew he was the guy for our wedding! He was very professional, laid back and informative. He let us know what to expect and let us know his back ground. We had issues with the first venue we booked for our wedding and end up changing after we had already booked Jason. He had no issues with this at all. We booked Jason for both the ceremony and reception. The music for the ceremony was awesome and went off without a hitch. From the walking down the aisle to the sand ceremony to the recessional. The reception was awesome. We chose a long songs for first dance and Jason knew where to start and end it so we were not dancing forever. Our grand entrance song was out of the ordinary, the theme to The Price Is Right and Jason did an amazing job introducing us in his best game show announcer voice. Which for Jason is not hard with his back ground! He played all the songs we asked for and made sure to not play the ones we did not want played. Our families are not what you would call the dancing type, but Jason kept them on the dance floor. That says a lot about his talents!!!! DJ Jason Jones was our wedding DJ a few weeks ago and he was awesome!!! After my first meeting with him a year prior to our wedding, I was so relaxed and confident with my choice.  We met one more time one week prior to the wedding and I left the meeting so excited, relieved and ready to party.  That says a lot considering I turned into a frantic, neurotic bride by that time. Jason was able to help me coordinate my wedding time line and my music perfectly.  At the ceremony and reception, he was wonderful!!! DJ Jon was our wedding DJ this past Friday and while I loved all my vendors, he's the first one on my list to give a top-star review to. Periodically throughout the night my husband and I found ourselves turning to him to give him a thumbs up because he seriously rocked our wedding. Everything went so smoothly and he was a doll to work with; really made us feel comfortable and taken care of through the whole process, including the day of. Elegant Events online music selection process is an awesome feature. We put in some of our musical selects, with the hopes that from that Jon could fill in the rest according to our tastes. It worked, he nailed it! It was a truly magical day for me and I love music so much that having the right songs playing for all the special moments added a level to the night that is hard to explain. Jon was seriously a joy to work with; great demeanor, really seemed to want to make our day perfect and I think when he sensed we were a fun-loving couple, he brought some humor to the mic during the garter toss and such, which we appreciated! We had Chris as our DJ for our Wedding and he was incredible! We had heard about and seen horror stories at weddings where the DJ thinks the day is about them, or they disregard what the Bride and Groom want. We were nervous about this happening to us but NOPE! DJ Jon of Elegant Event Entertainment was the DJ of our wedding. He was excellent. I can't sing his praises enough. We met with several different vendors for our wedding for a variety of services, this was not the case Jon. When we first met him, we knew he was our DJ and we really felt like he connected to our personalities and what we were looking for. We met with him a couple times before the day, and he was always attentive and helpful. The day of, he was great despite having to rush a bit (due to our hotel's lack of ability in being able to clear out a previous event on time). We had three different setups for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and he did a great job getting it all done on time with a great attitude. I really don't know how he did it all that quickly! We had him play a couple songs on solo guitar during the ceremony and many of our guests thought it was recorded, he was so on cue. It was perfect! During the reception, he played perfect music all night, we heard exactly what we wanted with some fun things thrown in that the guests seemed to enjoy as well. We had a Jewish ceremony with half of the contingent not Jewish, and he did a great job leading our large-ish group through the hora and it was tons of fun. He also knew when it was the right time to change the mood and get some quality dances in for the variety of ages we had for guests.
