Chris came out to Hurdlow Grange to cater for our wedding a couple of weeks ago. In very challenges circumstances (blown fuses and almost no space) he gave us and our guests an incredible 3 courses. Chris created a menu for our wedding and it was fantastic. It was so lovely to be able to design the menu based on our travels and we were able to talk about what would work together best. On the day, everything was beautiful and having two waiting staff helped the food and drinks run smoothly. I didn’t expect the waiting staff to pour the drinks that we bought but having them serve the prosecco on arrival and the wine throughout dinner was excellent. Chris and his wonderful team came and catered my hen weekend for 30+ ladies and it was nothing short of amazing. Having worked with Chris myself in the past it was such a joy to see him again 8 years later and I knew we were definitely in for a really special meal. Everything from the canapés to the pudding was just stunning, especially the sticky toffee pudding which was even better than I remembered it being back in 2010. We attended Chris' pop up restaurant at yeldersley last night for a 5 course tasting menu, it was delicious and great value for money! Food was amazing, service was fab and yeldersley was beautiful as always. We got married at yeldersley and it was lovely to be able to go back and reminisce. Absolutely fantastic! Chris and the team catered for my dad’s 70th birthday for 25 members of the family in the Peak District at the weekend. Chris catered for our wedding on the 19th August for over 50 guests. From the very beginning, Chris's professionalism and passion shone through and he worked with us to build a menu which was truly perfect for us. Once we agreed on the menu, Chris offered us a taster night so we could taste our various canapes and 3 courses ahead of the day to check if we were happy with our choices / see if we wanted to tweek anything. However, as it was so delicious, we didn't want to change anything. On the day itself, Chris's team were so professional and the service was impeccable in terms of pace and friendliness. All of the food from the canapes to the 3 course wedding breakfast was phenomenal (presentation, taste and temperature) - it was even better than the tasters we had! Everybody raved about all of the food (on the day and following days after the wedding) and no one went hungry! We couldn't recommend Chris highly enough for quality, value for money and service. We had no regrets in booking Chris and would recommend him for any catering event! More...

We had such a great evening when Chris catered for us during our stay at Upper Moor Farm Cottages. The food was delicious and it was a lovely treat for all our guests. We had lots of choice of menus and Chris was happy to discuss a more bespoke menu with me. We chose to have the meal served and Chris and his team were so professional and friendly. They knew the kitchen well and we didn't even know they had been there afterwards as it was so left so tidy. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Chris again and would highly recommend. More...
