About

Helping early years coordinators enhance children’s physical and mental development through designing & improving their outdoor spaces, starting with a free consultation, we can then either look at re-designing your outdoor space to better facilitate your teaching curriculum or as below, undertake on site training to help make better use of your existing space and resources.

What to expect
At ''Educational Play Outdoors we like to make training fun!
All sessions are planned individually, typically offering:
• Learn how to make the best use of your ''Outdoor Spaces'' as a regular educational resource
•Practical elements outside with an array of 'loose part' resources to experiment with
• Inspiring visual presentations
• Hands on practice & discussions around practicalities
• Q&A sessions
• Practical handouts to take away
• Seasonal, open-ended cross-curricular or subject/topic-related themes as required.

Sessions can be run as workshops (1 hour), twilight (2 hours), half-day (3 hours) or whole day (5 hours). To really embed the experience, learn our philosophy of outdoors we recommend training over the full school year to really embed into your setting. Get ready for next years ''Outdoor Classroom Day'' May 2019 and make it a school event to be proud of.

Terms
Offer applies to either our ''Twilight'' ''Half Day'' Or ''Full Day'' training packages. Pay full price for 3 training items and receive a 4th at half price training sessions must be of the same type to apply
Participants MUST be willing to be outside in all weather and have space for all participants on site.
Where required some loose parts can be arranged to be brought to site but we recommend encouraging parents and children to bring in items to be utilised as a way to inform parents about the training being undertaken and its relevance to their child's education, where required we can supply some supporting evidence and brief explanations.
