Chris has completed a wide range jobs for us over a prolonged period of time, plastering, tiling, basic wiring, painting and some joinery. Quality- ALL the work done was to a very good standard, the plastering particularly was extremely good. Reliability- Chris was always on time and completed all tasks in the time frames quoted. Trust- One of the things we liked about Chris the most is that he’s not the typical "builder type" meathead just after your money sort and it shows, he’s very polite, friendly, laid back but most importantly for vulnerable or elderly people he has a natural non-threatening personality, put us at ease right from the start. One of the jobs we had involved complicated electrical wiring, he advised us to get a registered electrician instead, very honest of him and we appreciated that. Attention to detail- After the work was completed everything was tidied away and the areas returned to normal. We have a list, A LONG ONE, of other work that needs to be done, we won’t be using anyone else even if we have to wait. Having been ripped off by a roofer from Darlington for over £5500.00 I think it’s wise that once you find someone competent, reliable, honest (and they don’t charge the earth) then its best to stick with them like glue. Chris obviously takes a personal pride in his work, he invests himself heart and soul in providing a top notch service, pity these sort of people are such a rarity in todays world. More...

We were very specific about the type of photo's we wanted taking for our recent wedding. Chris listened to our requests and as a result we are extremely delighted with all of our pictures. We wanted to capture the day in the most natural way possible and we certainly weren't disappointed with the results. Chris traveled to North Yorkshire, arrived in good time and discussed the format for the day. He carried out our requests and put us at ease, even suggesting that we have a photograph on the dodgems as the fair was in town! We would not hesitate to recommend Chris Parker in the future. This looks unbelievable - all exceptional - but my experience with Chris was just that. He is a real talent, from the old school of photography so knows his trade incredibly well. Every idea he had for the shoot turned into the best photos and my ideas at times, not so much. Chris worked on two major shoots for me, for Brand and Corporate imagery that I needed for marketing purposes. On a final note Chris is a great people person, a gentle soul that makes those he is shooting feel at ease straight away.
