What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What style of portraits do you love & are drawn to the most? (bright & airy, black & white, dark & moody, colorful etc.)
How do you want to use your portraits? (canvas, album, blog, social media etc.)
What do you love most about your job?
I love to take my couples or even just the bride out for coffee- my treat! That's a special time where I can get to know them, hang out, hear their story & tell them all my secrets for a wonderful marriage & wedding experience! It's my favorite part. Sometimes, we do this before they book with me and/or before their engagement session.
What inspired you to start your own business?
When I was in high school, my dad bought me a camera for christmas!
I know this is a typical Photographer's story but since then, I couldn't stop taking photos because I just loved it so much! Fast forward a couple years, I went to small Christian Liberal Arts college. My friends were getting a "ring by spring" & ta-da! I was the one behind the camera for them.
And the rest is history!

If you meet me, you will usually know within the first 5 minutes if I am going to be a good fit for you or not. Coffee date?
My aim is to be a comfort & a joy to my couples on their wedding day! Weddings are my favorites because I am so passionate about love and marriage! Arriving early is always essential for me, no matter how many hours of photography coverage are included. I just want the bride to know that I'm there for her so she doesn't need to worry about that. I love to bring a warm cup of coffee to the bride on the morning of her wedding!
