I love this restaurant and have been going to this and the Dublin location for years. Â The authentic New Mexican style is refreshing in a sea of tex mex restaurants across the city. Go with their margaritas! A little bit limited on their selection/choices of food but very tasty. The place is not the largest but it is very nice very comfortable and the food is very good. I would recommend avoiding rush hour for lunch or dinner otherwise you’ll have a little bit of a wait outside. Good service and large portions. I had the steak fajitas. The steak was sliced differently than expected (wide and thin), and I actually prefer it the typical way with more charring, but it was still good.

Hadn't been here in a year or two. Their house margaritas are pretty good. Â Recently tried their green Chile burger. It was also pretty good. The food was great but they did have a problem with my daughter where she's allergic to fish and somehow it got into her salad, just a sliverof it did and they were so accommodating about it they gave her antihistamine and everything so I gave them five stars for that reason alone!

These are things you'll hear me go on about when I'm reccommending Chile Verde. Every time a friend asks me for restaurants in Coumbus, Chile Verde is one of the first I say. I never get tired of going there. Their food is some of the best mexican I've ever had, and their service has never disappointed me. Private room review only.The room is free, and just needs a reservation. It has 3 tables that seat 8 at it's max. Not a big banquet room. They say you can add 1 more on the end of each, but getting up and down from your chair is already tight. I would book this room myself for 12-15 people and use the other table pushed against the wall for food and drinks. PRO TIP- one check. Venmo your guests if splitting.So this was a booking by a friend for his wifes birthday. I couldnt help but try to make it great by helping him out. I spoke to the banquet manager prior about decorations and cake. She was very friendly and accomodating. We had one server named Tom and he rocked. I made it real easy for him by ordering margarita pitchers, water, chips, salsa, queso, guacamole, and a sample plate for each table. PRO TIP- ask for the unadvertised free "Sample plate". It has the meats, salsa's, and sauces. Such a good idea Chile Verde. Good for you. Now helping to keep dirty dishes pushed down to where Tom could clear them, along with keeping glasses full , made it go smoother. They served our own birthday cake. Tom also took individual orders and boxed leftovers.I do wish the flat screen TV could have volume to hear. That would make a great space to gather for sports team cheering.If I see someone looking for a private party room, I will definitely recommend the right size to this one. More...

This place is a great! Great Mexican food and great service. Nothing too fancy and located in a strip mall, so it might get overlooked. I was guilty of overlooking it for years!The food is fresh and delish. And importantly to me, they have a gluten-free menu and the staff was very accommodating to food allergies. Many of the items on the menu can be made vegan or vegetarian, so it's perfect fo everyone.The margaritas were very tasty as well ...
