If I could give more stars, I would. The team really knows what they are doing. My husband and I were married on November 2. Mary was at my parents house and got photos of us getting ready and she was so patient in waiting for all of us to get ready. She got all of the classic shots of the dress and the shoes and even fit in several shots of me and my dog. Chuck really knows what he is doing. He played with the natural lighting at our venue and got some EXCELLENT shots (that are on this page) and we couldn't be happier. I also want to comment on their outstanding professionalism. We used Childer's for our engagement session and our wedding. They were absolutely amazing! They are all so easy to work with. Chris and Chuck took our engagement photos and Mary created our guest book. It was absolutely beautiful and a great way to have guests sign at the reception. We never had an issue with anything when it came to our wedding day. Chris and Eileen were there early to make sure things were going smoothly. They, along with Sunshine, went above and beyond what a photographer should do! My sister dropped her pearl earring in the fireplace, and Chris got down to help her find it. They were all so laid back, it was like spending a day with family taking your photos. They had ideas of what to do, but were very flexible for what we wanted. Crystal and I chose Childers for our wedding photography based upon their great reputation and recommendations from friends. We're very glad we made that choice because they've been great to work with from step one and their amazing images speak for themselves. We never felt pressured during our initial meeting and Chuck took the time to answer all of our questions. He also helped us plan a timeline for our big day based upon his knowledge of the various events and how long each will generally take. On our wedding day Christine and her crew couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful guiding us through all of the different poses and grouping to make sure we got all the pictures we were hoping for.

They captured all of the joy and emotion of the ceremony and all the great times of dining, drinking, and dancing with family and friends as we celebrated our marriage. It's worth nothing that they weren't intrusive at all. It's some kind of magic to get so many great shots while staying completely out of the way. Well done ladies!

I had Childers for my wedding and I love my photos! Anyone can take a picture but not the way they do it! They give so much attention to detail and you can tell they really care about capturing every special moment (planned or unplanned)! You also can't help but notice they have years of experience because somehow they manage to remain calm, and so helpful during a day that seems to fly by! My fiancé and I definitely recommend Childers. They have great plans to choose from depending on your budget. We feel like their prices are reasonable. They respond to us any time we have questions. We recently had our engagement photo session done. They came to our location and every pose or idea we thought of, they captured exactly what we were thinking. Within a week they gave us preview pics to post on social media and a disc with all of the photos. Within another week of that they had our photo album made. All of our photos turned out better than I ever expected! You can tell that Chuck and his team know exactly what they are doing and have been doing it for a long time. We couldn't be more happy with choosing Chuck and his team for our engagement and wedding photographer. We can't wait to see what they do for our wedding! More...

Chuck and Mary are so much more than photographers. I was so lucky to have them there on my wedding day. They not only took pictures but guided us step by step on the best way to do things the day of the wedding and lent a helping hand whenever they could. Childers was an amazing choice for our daughter's wedding. Their work is so beautiful and they were so professional, kind and supportive as our daughter and son-in-law took almost a year to finalize their album! With Mary's incredible talent and patience they finished it a few weeks ago and WOW is it gorgeous!! Never once were they pressured to hurry. Childers Photography and their entire team did an excellent job of capturing the moments of our daughter’s special day. Their high quality pictures captured the lasting memories you want. They put the entire wedding party at ease while paying attention to detail such as how the bridesmaids and bride held their bouquet, lighting, adjustment to ties, hair, etc. They also did a wonderful job at our reception. We had a large wedding party along with a very large wedding. You did not even know they were there capturing all those precious moments. Not only did they have to deal with unique lighting issues with our church but also at the reception hall. As the bride, Chuck Childers Photography did an excellent job throughout the day with pictures! I felt very calm and loved working with Chuck, Mary and the team with each shot. Mary was absolutely amazing and coached me on positioning and stance throughout the day and I didn't even know they were there at the wedding. This team works very well together and were very timely for each moment throughout the day. They also displayed strong flexibility regarding my choice of location for getting ready and my need to walk down the aisle right when arriving to the church for the ceremony. We looked at 4 different options for photography for our June wedding. As the mother of the bride, I was responsible for finding the best. Childers was by far the best suited to handle our needs and wants. Chuck and his staff, specifically Mary, anticipated our needs and then some. Mary's attention to every detail regarding my daughter, the bride, was impressive and seemed to take some of the pressure off of me when it came to making sure the bride was picture perfect. Growing up in Dayton, I had always admired the work from Childers Photography, and was thrilled when I realized they fit within our wedding budget. Worth every penny!! Chuck, Mary, Chris, Sarah and others at Childers have been professional, kind, courteous, patient, fair, honest with feedback and downright fun to work with over the last year! From designing creative, unique photos to patiently handling my stresses of the wedding day after I was running behind schedule (I hate being late!!), I know why they’ve been in business for over 20 years! Mary took extra steps to recreate some shots from our engagement photo session at our wedding, and the result was not only stunning but also thoughtful and meaningful for us as we look back and enjoy the memories. Photography is so key to a wedding day – after the food is gone, the dancing is done, the cake has been cut and the drinks have been toasted – the photography is what allows you to savor the memories of that special day for a lifetime to come. We had all 3 of our children in the wedding as well, so the photography was extra-special, and Childers was wonderful about making sure they were included. I had a co-worker tell me that one of the portrait shots looked straight out of a fairy tale, and she’s right. We were blessed to have Chuck’s expertise to recognize the opportunity and get the shot – one of my favorites! I’m having trouble narrowing down the photos for our album because there are so many incredible photographs. Many brides wait months for pictures to come back – not with Childers! Even at peak wedding season they had our proofs done in just a few weeks! Their online format for sorting and selecting photos is very helpful, and allows you to control who sees your proofs.
