Earle filmed a play I was in and did an amazing job. I appreciated how he edited the scenes together so that the story just flowed, as if you were in the audience. He also captured several different views so that we see the whole stage when it is appropriate and also get some close up shots when the characters are having an intimate moment. I felt like Earle made sure he was familiar with the play before filming so he was able to follow the action of the story appropriately. I am grateful to have this wonderful final product! More...

With all the companies that come and go these days, its nice to not only find a small creative business with some serious longevity but one that actually treasures the work which they create for clients enough to save their own copies (even though I had little expectation that they would. )After losing some work done 23 years earlier,  Earle provided not only a replacement copy, but instead of providing it on the original VHS tape, converted the original Super VHS master (which was apparently about twice the quality of regular VHS) and make a DVD that looked much better. This kind of attention to detail and service takes Chicago Videoworks above and beyond. We were extremely pleased with Chicago Videoworks (Earle) and the quality of our wedding video. I know some people skip a videographer for their wedding because they don't think they need both a video and still pictures but I think that would've been a huge mistake! I believe it is our most treasured piece of memorablia from our big day. Earle presented our day beautifully. I love watching the dynamics between all of friends and family that could only be captured in a video. Earle customized everything with the music of our choice, sepia was integrated to add a nostalgic feeling, the final "montage" really captures the essence of the day/night. It still brings tears to our eyes, 7 years later! Our 4 year old son is obsessed with our wedding video and likes to believe he was there! He wasn't born for another 2 years. He has even said that he wants to get married soon because our wedding was so beautiful! You will NOT be disappointed with their work. And one other great thing was that the moments that were chosen for our video were so genuine because Earle was so "ninja like" that we barely noticed when he was taping us so he caught some very touching moments. To any of you out there looking for someone great to capture a special day or moment, Earle is your man! More...

We used Earle for our wedding videography and it was the best vendor choice we made of the whole wedding. He's a bit pricey, but worth every penny. My husband and I still well up every time we watch our video again. More...

Q&As

The variety. Every job is different, different subjects, different target markets and different approaches to achieving the customer's goal. We love the variety and trying new things.

After i got my MBA in the early 80's I started as the Communications Specialist for the American Red Cross in Chicago. After 3 months of attending to the mundane, I told them that there really was not enough work for a full timer to do and that they would be better served by eliminating my job and outsourcing the video production work. So I started my own company, they eliminated my position and they became my first client. After doing a targeted, uniquely positioned color postcard mailing of 1200 pieces, MCI (the phone company) became our 2nd client and were with us for over 10 years. Since then we have served dozens of big companies that everyone has heard of and hundreds of small companies that no one has heard of.

Your clients should choose us because we get the job done, on-time and cost effectively. We also won't commit to delivery deadlines that we know are not achievable and we will always tell it like it is because life is too short to sugar coat the truth.
