I recently worked with Jamie at Chicago Food Truck Hub to cater for a student/university event. From his very onset to responding to my initial inquiry he was very organized and quick to respond. He was always able to help bring clarity to issues we needed to navigate. We had some considerable additional hoops to jump through to ensure that we were compliant with university procedures and our health safety office. Throughout the process he remained a great partner in producing the documentation needed to be 100% compliant. The day of the event, Jamie was a great liaison and was on site to ensure that everything went smoothly. Even when we had to make last minute changes to our logistics because of considerable rain, we were able to trouble-shoot appropriately for a nice event. In the final lead up to the event he also helped to navigate cost savings measures to make sure that we wouldn't experience much food waste from the event. It was a pleasure working with Jamie. Jamie is the real deal! He is so easy to work with and he has done a great job for the two events we have done with him. Organizational skills is definitely a strong point. I cannot recommend Jamie enough, he made our wedding on Aug 4 absolutely perfect. I was checking out other caterers and was having trouble finding something I was excited about for our wedding. Everything seemed so pricey for food that sounded just OK. From the beginning of contacting Jamie, he was so organized, professional, and excited to help us bring our dream wedding to life. I told him we didn't want fancy and boring food, we wanted the dinner to be fun and taste amazing! He coordinated 2 of our absolute favorite food vendors/trucks, all rentals, and the hiring of staff and a day-of-coordinator (Tejaci Patel, who was also incredible). He has great contacts and knowledge of the industry, so he brought on the best people for all of the services we needed. I plan events for my own job, so I am familiar with the extent to which great organization and knowledge is needed to make a big event smooth. As a food truck owner, I've really enjoyed working with Chicago Food Truck Hub! Jamie puts on great events and coordinates all the moving pieces from day one of the planning stages to the execution of the event. I love partnering with him and would highly recommend his services, especially for large weddings and corporate events. He has a fleet of food trucks and other event vendors he has strong relationships with and puts in the time and energy to really make things happen for his clients. jamie and his team at food truck hub were great to work with for our chicago wedding. i knew i wanted to use food trucks for our big day, and we had the more unconventional idea to make the food trucks the whole dinner for our guests (not just a late night treat). we wanted them to really have the 'walk-up-to-the-window' experience. trying to wrangle multiple food trucks and their licenses/etc., sounded daunting, so we sought out someone who could make the whole process easier - thus, food truck hub. they have connections with tons of chicago's food trucks and understand all of the city's regulations. they set up all the tastings for us  (and joined us for many) as we narrowed it down to our 3 favorite trucks. when one of our trucks had to back out, jamie did a great job of helping us find a replacement truck. he also helped us come up with great contingency plans had it rained (luckily it didn't!) he and his staff were at our wedding from the moment our first truck arrived until the the last truck left, and made sure the needs of our guests were met and the flow of traffic was never a problem. highly recommend food truck hub for your wedding's late night food, full meal, or any other event!
