Great teachers, the lessons are adequate and a bunch of fun. I have learned a lot from this dance studio, and I am very thankful for all they have taught me and my partner.

My fiance and I found this place on groupon. At first we were only thinking of taking a few leasons for our big day, our wedding day. Once we started learning and practicing, we loved it so much, we decided to keep going. They have latin dances and swing. Going here has gives us so much confidence and every chance we get, we show our dance moves. Once a month, Brian, the instructor, has a themed party. It is a fun outmosphere and we feel like we are part of a bigger family. Brian is really patient with us and gives us his undivided attention. His artistic mind came up with the beginning of our wedding dance in just a few minutes!! Thank you Brian and Jas (our other dance instructor) for making us feel so welcomed and being so patient with us. I would really recommend Chicago Dance Factory in Villa Park for anyone who wants to build their dancing confidence, want to refine your skills, for those that have have always had dancing bones, or for those that want to take it up a notch and compete. I researched schools in the Chicago area for over a month before I decided to come to CDF. I'm an engineer: social situations are not exactly my forte with my dance expertise going so advanced as being able to shimmy, dab, and 2-step.
Most intro classes offered by other studios were exclusively group classes, but I was not comfortable with that. I didn't want to be feel bad messing up in a group setting when I was just getting started. I was glad that CDF offered an intro package of 4 private lessons, and was paired up with Brian, who is an amazing teacher. He genuinely cares about your progress, and when you make mistakes, he is supportive in his corrections - you don't feel like you're being chastised, and you find yourself wanting to meet the expectations he has for you.
I decided to continue my lessons after my intro classes were over, and within a a couple of weeks, started joining the group sessions as well. CDF has a great vibe around it, and such supportive, fun group members that you can't help but want to practice with them.
Highly recommended, you'll find yourself having an extra dance step to your walk, and wanting to dance to the song on the radio you were afraid to before. I'm glad I found this place.

So glad I found this studio! Brian, the other teachers and students are very supportive and friendly. This is a great place to learn at any level. There are private and group classes depending on which you prefer. Brian is very knowledgeable about body mechanics and technique for these styles of dance to help learn the correct way. More...

I have been taking dance lessons here for four weeks as a beginner and my instructors have been great for me. I worked with Elena at first and then I worked with Jazmine once I heard that Elena had left. I was set up with an additional free dance class once I actually joined Chicago dance. Every Tuesday they do Salsa lessons for all which come free with the membership! More...

CDF is a marvelous studio. The director, Brian Wong is one of the most patient, supportive and friendliest instructors I have ever met. If a step takes you 100 times to master he will still be as patient as if he were showing you the first time. His "crew" is just as friendly and patient. The atmosphere is light and can be enjoyed by everyone More...

We love Brian and his great approach to teaching dance, beginner to pro-. With him, it’s always “Yes, you can-and this is how”, and «Wow, look what you can do”, inspiring each student to learn. Plus, Brian engages his students in social and competitive activities, allowing adults to develop a niche of physical activity and great interactions in one place. We have seen the “Factory” grow for 5+ years and are honored to be a part of this wonderful environment. Looking forward to how far you take “Chicago Dance Factory” More...

I've been taking lessons from Brian for about 11 months. He's a great teacher and support. He makes learning fun and he's very easy going. You can tell he only wants the best for you. I will say the studio at first was little hard to find. But the expansion should change that. Great environment. Family friendly. More...
