Kristina was so helpful with our female degu poppy. Poppy has some serious dental issues which have been going on for many months before we adopted her and we had no idea of them when we had gotten her. I've gone through 3 other veterinary practices before finding this little gem of a place. I have guinea pigs and the first exotic vet that was there was amazing, but unfortunately she left to go elsewhere but her replacement is just as good. Professional and caring vets, nurses & staff. My rescue dog is highly strung and barks if he can’t get to other animals to play. Reception staff always make a fuss of him despite his barking and never mind that he’s noisily jumping around. The Pet Health Plan spreads the cost of my dog's year-round 'maintenance' needs & is a very large cost-saving. It takes all the money worries out of his vaccinations, health check etc. I get a text reminder when his quarterly flea & worm treatment is due so I can just phone to arrange to check his weight and collect his meds. I don’t have to scramble to get the money together or worry/delay. I’m not being paid for this endorsement, it’s a really effective way to ensure my dog gets everything he needs, when he needs it. Our bird had suddenly become I'll and we were supposed to wait a day for an appointment. However, the condition of the bird had progressed and the nurse who was supposed to be leaving hanged on so she could check him. They did him free of charge as he died in the vets. Absolutely fantastic service!My cat got ran over in the middle of the night, I called the emergency number and met the vet (Edward I think? ) at the surgery in the very early hours...She had a broken pelvis and jaw and was in a very bad state, however, they worked their magic and a few weeks later my cat was home and made a full recovery.I cant thank everyone enough at Cheshire Pet for the exceptional level of service, a great team of very caring people.ThanksPeter More...

Excellent service!!! Our first visit to Cheshire Pet Veterinary Practice. We were made to feel very welcome from the initial booking, right through to the veterinary appointment. On arrival we saw many animals in reception, which the reception ladies knew by name. The ladies made a huge fuss of each and every pet, providing treats and lots of cuddles. All of the animals looked very happy to be there!Christina the Vet was very welcoming, which Instantly put me at ease. She was extremely knowledgeable and professional and answered all of my questions, which reassured me as a first time owner of a pet hedgehog. I haven't been a member of this vets for long, however that hasn't affected how friendly and welcoming all of the staff have been towards me. I joined when the surgery was being refurbished and the result is wonderful. It's so clean, lovely and bright and well set out. It also doesn't smell bad at all which some vets I have been to in the past have had a very lingering smell. This surgery is the total opposite. My 2 year old tortoise isn't well. It's my first tortoise so I have had questions i wanted to ask and to check what I am doing is correct.The vets are so caring and supportive that I have felt completely comfortable asking anything. They have passed no judgments and have really reassured me. I have already recommended the practice to family members and telling them how nice it is there. And will also be recommending it to most of my friends. I also have 2 cats that are registered with another practice but I am considering moving them to this one. Cheshire Pet have looked after our two cats Poppy and Teddy for 15 years. The service by the vets and nurses has been exemplary. The welcome by reception staff has been excellent. Even the 'end' for each cat (Poppy five years ago and Teddy a week ago) has been handled professionally and sympathetically. Teddy's was a home visit. We cannot give higher praise to this practice. I have used Cheshire Pet since they opened. My dogs have had the best treatment and I have always felt involved in their care. The staff are lovely and will often go the extra mile and are ready to listen when you have concerns, giving time to ensure you understand and holding you together when needed. Yes I may have waited sometimes but its because they give time to each client and the reception staff chat while you wait! I trust them implicitly with my pets. More...
