I contacted Celtic Tuning Remapping and Diagnostic LTD to see about a stage 3 ECU remap on my Mercedes Vito. I read up about it but was a little skeptical as I was always taught, "If it's too good to be true, it probably is. "After a long think, I decided to take the plunge. Celtic Tuning recommended Ben and I was happy to meet on Saturday morning and the remapping was done very professionally. I drove the van back home and the difference was immediately obvious. The throttle response became sharp and meaningful, the low down torque that you get from a Diesel engine seemed to be spread across the rev range and the power was significantly improved. When looking for a remap for my Audi RS5, most tuners offered a paltry 15bhp or so, as this is already a highly-tuned normally aspirated engine. I happened across Celtic Tuning online and a claimed 30BHP increase from their remap, which seemed quite generous. Ben at Cheshire Car Care was the local (Cheshire/Manchester) rep for Celtic Tuning remaps, so I contacted him and arranged the work.Finding Cheshire Car Care can be tricky, as Ben works out of a farm-based commercial outbuilding off a busy dual carriageway. Be sure to contact Ben beforehand and get detailed directions!Ben himself was a real gentleman that provided a very welcoming, courteous and laidback service. It was clear that Ben was knowledgeable and conscientious and he insisted on road-testing my car once remapped to ensure he was satisfied with the drive. I waited with the car for a couple of hours but there isn't much to do/anywhere to go, so either drop the car off and collect later or use the time to catch up on your emails, etc!I was worried in case I noticed no difference to the car's performance. However, after a couple of weeks of driving the car since the remap, I have noticed a little extra urgency and surge here and there, which I am really delighted with (I think there is a little extra growl, too)!All in all, I would recommend a Celtic Tuning remap and also Ben for a really pleasant experience. Amazing service from Ben. Despite me picking up a brand new car from a reputable dealership, it became apparent that it was laden with swirl marks, holograms and paint defects. We also looked at options to protect the car longer term and opted for Gtechniq Crystal Serum/C1 and Exo to all exterior surfaces. Ben at Cheshire Car Care was awesome in the work he did to rectify the defects and presented me my car with what I can only describe as a 'better than new car finish'. What an absolutely 5 star experience from start to finish.
after buying a brand new Vw t6 kombi van and taking delivery of it last month, only to receive it with scratches and blemishes all over, I was not happy to say the least, sent it back to Vw and it came back even worse after they wrecked it by trying to buff out the unsightly marks.
All that is now a distant memory thanks to ben at cheshire care care, my van went in looking like it was 4 years old and came out looking like glass mirror, i could not believe it was the same vehicle.

Ben carried out a paint correction detail on the full bodywork of my BMW which had a vandalised 'keying' area on the rear wing and a mixture of superficial swirl and light scratches to more deeper scratches from poor washing techniques over the whole bodywork. After a 2 day service of wet sanding some areas and a whole car polish Ben brought my car back to life again near as damn it new again. I recently visited Cheshire Car Care for a vehicle remap. I was extremely impressed with the service he was a top bloke and really nice to deal with, I am looking forward to using CCC again for some of the other services he offers. 5* experience i would definetly recommend, you will not be disappointed.
