I have been working with Cheryl for almost 10 years. Her advice personally and professionally always guides me in the right way. If you are looking for honesty and a non bias opinion on a direction you should take Cheryl is the answer. She has helped me through so much in life with her therapy I have no idea where I would be in life with out her help. Thank you so much Cheryl! More...

I've been working with Cheryl for a couple of years. One of the best things I've ever done for myself. Cheryl has an impressive depth of knowledge and she uses it creatively to move me deep into the therapeutic process. She works from a kind of compassion that just can't taught. I don't live in Florida anymore, but I fly back regularly specifically to see her. Yeah, Cheryl's that good. More...

I have been going to see Cheryl for almost 3 years now, and it has been one of the best decisions I've ever made! She helped me initially after a traumatic event, but I continued to see her on a regular basis. I will continue to refer any friends, family, or colleagues to her that are in the area. More...

I have used Cheryl over the last 10 years for advice on many different situations that have occurred in my life. Cheryl always offers a professional opinion and has always made me look at the situation in a different light. Her insight and professionalism has helped guide me through these sometimes not so fun situations that life throws at us. I would recommend her to anyone. She really has a lot of insight into the way people act and act towards ourselves. I always find it very interesting and educational listening to her professional advice. More...

I highly recommend Cheryl, she’s a very intelligent and caring therapist. I’ve been seeing Cheryl for almost 6 years and I’ve made dramatic improvements to my life with her guidance. I’ve been seeing her since a divorce and she’s been part of many milestones in my life. I’m incredibly thankful for her, and her support and wisdom. She offers so many tools and therapies to her clients. She will always find the best way to help you grow and make better choices to achieve the life you want. Her advice and perspective have always been spot on, and raised my awareness for my mental and physical safety. I’m truly thankful I’ve found someone I can trust. More...

I've been seeing Cheryl for a couple of years now as a therapist and life coach. She has opened my eyes to, and changed my perspective on, the things I was having trouble with. She's pushed me to make changes in my life, and I feel like a normally functioning human now. She is also always a text away if I need anything. I'd definitely recommend her. More...

Q&A

I love meeting new people who are looking to change and better their lives with my guidance. I'm always excited when a client realizes that they have made so many positive changes in their lives and are able to move forward while facing new challenges.

I have always owned my own business. I like the independence and the flexibility of my schedule.

I have many qualifications and specialties that I can use to help my clients move towards change and empowerment. I realize that each of my client's needs is different and therefore, I create a treatment plan that is geared towards these needs.

Services

EMDR Stands for Eye-Movement Desensitization Reprocessing. This is a process where through bi-lateral eye movements the targeted memory (usually a traumatic event) becomes unfragmented and allows the client to desensitize and reprocess the event with my guidance and expertise. After a completed targeted memory the client will remember the event but will have little or no emotional response to it. This process works very well with those clients who have PTSD, Anxiety, or depression due to childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence, combat trauma, as well as many other traumatic events.

I am a Qualified Supervisor for the State of Florida for those Master students who need to meet their supervision requirements.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor I am qualified to perform forensic psychological assessments, mental status examination, Becks Depression Inventory, and many other clinical assessments.
