Originally built as a private residence, the estate boasts 320 acres of private property, a 13,000 square foot mansion and two beautifully crafted barns to host events ranging from 10 to 300 guests.

My husband and I got married this past summer (August 2019) at Cherry Creek Estate. We have pondered this review many times since, and have struggled to put into words how amazing the entire experience was. We chose to do a four night stay (Thursday to Monday, wedding on Saturday) - which was the best decision ever. Dave Clarke and the entire Cherry Creek team made the 4 days everything we could have ever hoped for. Having our family and friends able to stay on site really made it feel like a true "destination wedding" , and having the extra days made us all so relaxed and really able to stop and take in the whole experience. The venue is stunning, the photos online really don't even do it justice. We decided to book before we had even seen the venue, and were worried that the photos online would misrepresent... but it was the opposite. We were so excited the first time we were able to go visit the property. Everything is taken care of to the highest standard, the entire property, from the villa to the buggy barn to the reception barns. Dave went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed and that everything was perfect on our big day, but also from day 1 through the entire planning process. We couldn't even begin to thank him enough for all his time and effort. The food was UNREAL. Chef David is insanely good. All of our guests are still raving about how amazing the food was. Our only complaint we had from guests was that during the cocktail hour, they didn't get to try everything, as the plates were often empty and heading back to the kitchen before they made it around the entire patio and inside lounges. The servers were also quite young and there were a few times where they were incorrect about what they were serving - this would be my only negative - as it could have been bad if someone had an allergy - but everything was okay for us! We all had so much fun taking in all that Cherry Creek had to offer. It is a weekend that we will never forget, and we are already talking about going back for an anniversary trip with our family and friends. Thank you to the team for everything! More...

This was one of the best places to get married. We came for a quick tour last year and automatically fell in love with the location. We put down deposit down and started planning. We had a fall wedding the next year, could not ask for better weather, and the colors were surreal. There was some miscommunications with what we were allowed concerning alcohol and outside food, but worked out in the end. Cherry Creek Estate was everything we wanted and more. We got what we paid for. Manager Dave Clarke made us feel at home and part of the family. Chef David created the most flavorful creations we have ever tasted. The crew and owners treated us amazing and helped us with any problems or questions we had. To this day our wedding was one of the most memorable days of our lives. Our guests still talk about the location and the food, stating this was the best wedding they have ever been too. I had to agree. If ever considering having a wedding at this location I recommend taking the helicopter ride to the top of the mountains for pictures. Stayed here 2 nights for my bestfriend's wedding. The manager Dave was super nice and their chef David makes fantastic food. He was fantastic enough to make a special meal for our son with very bad food allergies. The property is huge and has lovely views. The villa and the buggy barn are very modern and classy. There were only a few things that I'd say could use improvement - the WiFi signals are very weak and turn on and off (we were using it to connect to the baby monitor). There also is limited cellular signal from here as well so something to keep in mind. The second thing would be that you don't get a key to lock your door. It is a remote location but you can't always trust everyone (the other guests, etc) to not wander into your room by accident. A key would be great for piece of mind. Otherwise a wonderful location to have your wedding at. Beautiful photos and scenery. Close to the mountains. There's even a few horses and some chickens. Super happy with our stay. Thank you! To say our wedding day was truly magical in an understatement. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and the service, we the bride and groom, and guests received was better than anything we could have dreamed. Our guests felt as they were on a first class weekend retreat. We felt as though this was our home for the weekend. The staff was friendly, helpful and organized. Dave was always there if we had questions and was a gracious host with a smile on his face all the way into the late hours of the night. We envisioned very specific desires for our photographs and he stopped at nothing to make sure those dreams came true. Chef David, there aren't enough words; he is an exceptional Chef. From the day we met him in the planning stages, the rehearsal dinner, the wedding, to brunch the following morning we all couldn't stop talking about how much we loved his cuisine. "Best wedding we have been to", is what we have heard from many of our guest. The venue was absolutely stunning and the flow from the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception went so smoothly. Dave was absolutely amazing to deal with. He was very helpful with our request and was very accommodating. We wish we could have had another day on the estate because we were having so much fun. On behalf of my husband, our families and myself we cannot thank Cherry Creek enough for their overwhelming support and care during our wedding weekend. They were present when needed, and gave us space when necessary with impeccable intuition. The property is stunning, pictures truly don't serve it justice. The staff is unbelievable. As a testament to our rowdy weekend we couldn't remember everyone's names but wanted to personally recognize Jenna, Joe, Chef David & Rhiannon. If their open hearts and dedication to our day wasn't enough to love them, they were SO in control and delivered a magical experience. Every guest at our wedding praised the food (highly recommend the elk and duck winngs!) and amazing staff. The day flowed effortlessly and in a unique way we never thought possible for our big day. With such close knit family and friends we couldn't have picked a better venue to host our crazy bunch. It was such a bonding experience having the wedding in such seclusion. Where to even begin.... my son and my beautiful daughter (in law) just got married at Cherry Creek this past weekend on July 29th. .. from the moment we got there Rhiannon and Jenna welcomed us and helped us all pull off the most exceptional day ever!!! I can not say enough about these two ladies and all they did!!! And then the food... omg the food was amazing from appies for the cocktail hour to the most amazing dinner ever. Anything we needed or wanted they took care of... the atmosphere you get when entering the estate is just the start of it... then you meet the people you will be working with and you are blown away... and all the four legged friends who are along for the ride, the horses and how can I not mention Jerry the sweetest dog ever who joined us in celebrating this day!!! We got married at Cherry Creek on Sept 10, 2016 and had the most amazing & once in a life time experience! The staff was so helpful and accommodating, they made the weekend that much better! The food, oh the food people STILL are commenting months later just how much they loved the food! From the rehearsal dinner, cocktail hour, wedding night dinner to brunch the day after, it was all to die for!!! Rhiannon & Emily were so very kind to us, the whole process leading up the the day was made that much easier because they were willing to help with any questions you had, did everything they could to make sure you were happy & helped to make sure you were confident your day is going to be what you were dreaming of ❤️. The venue was perfect, as a bride who lives in Calgary, it wasn't always easy to picture what you were putting together but with their help (and them answering all my crazy questions) the day was just prefect. We had the most beautiful wedding at Cherry Creek. It was so amazing to be there all weekend with our friends and family. The staff were extremely accommodating all weekend . The chef even gave the bridesmaids a plate of leftovers on the Friday night at 1am! (he was still there prepping for the next day!). We had to move our ceremony indoors to the buggy barn and it turned out more beautiful than we could've imagined. I highly recommend that location for the ceremony if you aren't using it for the reception. The Rocky Mountain hall was the perfect rustic barn venue that accommodated our large group and still had room for a live band and dance floor. Our guests are still talking about their incredible experience and the delicious food that they had on our weekend. I would love to be back celebrating there on our 20th anniversary!! Just had the most amazing wedding Sept 17th at Cherry Creek. The staff is amazing and helped me organize things the whole way. The property is stunning - everything from that first impression you get driving through the gate, to the view from the bridal suite is gorgeous. The food is so good!! People were raving all night about how delicious the menu was. We just returned from Cherry Creek Estate last night from our daughter and new son in laws wedding and I Must say what every person there must have said at some point over the weekend. ...wow !!! Fabulous, gorgeous, breathtaking scenery, and every other positive adjective you want to throw in....from the owners that we had the absolute pleasure to meet Dennis , Joe and every single person we had any interaction with on the fabulous staff this was truly the kind of place and people that make that special day all it can be and more !! The food was delightful and delicious with personal touches from the chef that made even the smaller items stand out and above from any other dining experience! The girls in the villa and all over the grounds and those that helped Ashley with all the planning were so awesome.servers and waiting staff We never saw a face anywhere around there that wasn't smiling and truly friendly to all, young or old. You folks have something really special here and thank you all so much for all the little extras you do !! My partner and I had a rather different experience than most couples whilst planning our wedding, we live in Australia but chose to have our dream wedding in the Rocky Mountains of Canada. Our hunt for the perfect venue had been done strictly online. After being told by a local about Cherry Creek Estates we chose to look it up as well. Not only did the photos of the venue blow us away, but so did the price! What topped it all off for us and helped us make our decision to book from the other side of the world, was the very helpful and accommodating Emily who was happy to help answer my many questions. We were very nervous on arriving to Cherry Creek, as the first time we would actually see the venue in person was the day before our wedding. All of our nervousness quickly went away as we were driving up the winding driveway onto the beautiful property. Straight away we knew we had made the right choice, the grounds were so well maintained, the manor was beautiful and very clean, and the view was stunning. Our wedding day at Cherry Creek was even better than we had been planning, the ceremony with the mountain back drop was beautiful even with the gloomy weather. The hall was so indescribably beautiful I got goosebumps walking in! Our guests could not get over how amazing the food tasted, and how friendly and great the staff were. I would highly recommend Cherry Creek, it had completely exceeded our expectations and our guests are still talking about how they had such a wonderful time. Thanks so much again to all the staff, the day wouldn't have gone so well without your efforts and they certainly did not go unnoticed.
