Yesterday Chelsea did a photo session with me in preparation for a book I will be publishing soon. It was so much fun! Chelsea is very professional but also puts one at ease. Many of us are not comfortable having our photos taken, especially when we are the only one in them! I was nervous ahead of time, but it just took moments for me to relax and enjoy "the ride". Chelsea has done both of my children's senior pictures and we absolutely love her! The pictures turned out beautiful - Chelsea finds unique and fresh settings that result in amazing photos. She is very professional and personable. My son, who didn't want to even take senior pictures was very comfortable with her and she got him to take several different shots - all with a smile! I cannot tell you how happy I am with my professional photos from Chelsea Nicole Photography. During our photo shoot, we took headshots of both my design partner Diana Zapata and myself, pictures of us together, pictures of us looking like we’re working with a client, and some photos of one of our installations.
This all took about a 1hr and a half - she was very efficient. As an added bonus, Chelsea also did a “mock up” of a possible video we could use for promotional purposes! She made us look amazing and was super fun to work with. What a cherry personality – helped put us at ease and captured out “best”. Thanks Chelsea, so appreciate your work.

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Helping clients feel comfortable so we can create pictures that represent who they really are.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What they need the picture for. Is it for social media, to hang up on a wall or for their website. Depending on the type of photo I am doing I will want more info on what look they are going for in images as well as hobbies and interests that might be helpful in portraying the image they are looking for.
What do you love most about your job?
When people look at their pictures and see the beauty in themselves and in their family that is sometimes hidden under self doubt and personal criticism.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I love taking photos and have been doing it for years as a side gig while raising my children. Now they are in school and aren’t as dependent on me, I have gone on to make it a full time job.
Why should our clients choose you?
The photography market is pretty well saturated. I think u need to look at portfolios and find a style you like but I love kids (I have four of my own), and I love people and usually leave every photo shoot with a new friend.
